Most Western hospitals these days seem incredibly inept at infection control, with many patients leaving hospital with infections they never had when they went in.

Since the discovery of how germs spread I don;t think it has ever been "better" than it is now/
But this isn;t a case of Docs washing their hands but not washing their necklace ID tags and spreading staph.
This is people knowingly dealing with a deadly virus and having protocols to do so, yet still a nurse came in contact with body fluids...
