The US Bill of Rights says ye have the right to be free and pursue happiness.
Well maybe it just makes these nice colored folk happy to a have a free color TV. I know it would make me very happy.

I suppose it made the sweet young lad Mr Brown happy to smash a cop's face in, shame that the evil nasty whitey copper blew sweet mr Brown's brains out.

Some of you have a weird idea of how policing works, or perhaps life in general.
Most US cops will never draw a weapon in anger in their career.
Then something like this happens, driving around issuing speeding ticket, arresting shoplifters, is the job for most, not carrying assault rifles.
No real training and no real rules of engagement, here, some guns and body armor go sort it out.

FBI is there investigating civil rights violations, the attorney general is there, where are the US Marshals, FBI swat teams ATF.

No leave it to local hick forces, under trained, unprepared, no blame on Washington.

It is a blame and political points game, maybe TG and RC would like to give some real alternatives, pull all police out, leave the area under control of the gangs, drug dealers, rapists.

Personally, tell everyone that's law abiding to get out, then bomb the rest.

    2. careful you don't break a hip bending over backwards trying to justify a cop pointing an assault rifle at citizens and telling them that he's going to kill them.

there should be a labor hearing...but based on the video this guy should be fired.

and rightfully so. i don't know the laws of MO, but after firing this guy they should charge him with a crime that would make it so that he can't legally own a firearm in the future.

There; corrected that statement for you.

I usually refer to them as blacks or black people.....I very seldom use African American because that's the term used by PC whingers and race baiters like your good self.

Once in a while it's appropriate (in the proper context) to throw in a bit of ghetto vernacular such as "nigga", or the more traditional "nigger" which they frequently use when communicating amongst themselves... I, and a few others do this so you can cut it out and post it back as evidence of us being old and frightened that the world is passing us by.... but I know that it really gets you frothing at the mouth and almost going into cardiac arrest....so maybe I should use it more often.....

The Po Po in America are exactly the same as the posters on this forum, some are good and some are bad.

    Just roll with it eh.

Difference is, on Teakdoor one goes to Jail and in the USA one risks a bullet in their arse .

If the locals didn't like the local police/government, they could have just voted them out.
RC will be along and tell us they couldn't, because local election are held in April.

    Nigras don't vote, no point.

Fat whitey gets nervous when they get some flak for their shit and ain't used to it. This is just same old same old as they fight to save their flabby asses.

Better the blacks go get some and put a few of those fat bellied, killer whitey cops into the ground. Get a bit more respect. That way maybe whitey will recruit some pigs with brains.

The shit on the street now is just white trash pigs fighting a corner that ain't going to be there in another year. Even dumb septics know when it's time.

    Well, maybe.

When Bellamy was elected in November 2005, she became the youngest mayor in North Carolina, the youngest Mayor ever elected in Asheville and the first African-American to serve as Mayor in Asheville.

This is some footage of Bellamy giving a talk in front of Asheville city hall in April of 2007:

You make it all sound so simple Jim.
As well as having a vote, you also need someone qualified to vote for.
You think they can just pull a competent Black Police Chief out of their ass?

Yes, a competent police chief, what's color have to do with it.
Good senior cops in the NYPD, LADP, FBI and every other big force, black and white.
It's a job, best man/woman should win on merit, not color.
As posted above, black mayors win elections on merit, not on race.
You seem to have a problem with that. Jim

Necron, This is the broad reaching problem across the USA, the qualified ones don't have the money to campaign. The ones who have the money to campaign ... ? qualified ?

This generally causes voting along party lines or voting for the lesser of two evils.

    Just my two cents.

Demonstrations began after Aug. 9 shooting of Michel Brown, and authorities have arrested at least 163 people in the protest area.

Data provided Thursday by St. Louis County showed that while the majority of those arrested are Missourians, just seven live in Ferguson, a St. Louis suburb. The vast majority, 128 people, were cited for failure to disperse. Twenty-one face burglary-related charges.
