    Thai Political News Subforum

It has got to the point now that the Thailand and Asia news forum has become almost unreadable. It is constantly spammed with political 'news' and now the decent subject threads that would have caused a good discussion not too long ago just fall of the first page and are often missed.

Can we have a Thai political news forum in the Thailand and Asia news section so that the news forum is not bogged down by the political threads and shameless spamming?

    Much thanks.

and remember noodles, todays news is tomorrows fish wrapping, albeit you may get cancer from the print and the fish and chip shop that served you would be closed down for health violations.

PS, 24 hours is more than long enough for something to be on first page of the news, it's still not at the stage where it is all new at 24 hours.

Just a separate news forum for all the political stuff would be good. I'm sure that many will agree. It would probably placate a lot of the shit fights that go on in there too.

Admit, I get sick of it but what else would you expect to see in Thailand and Asia news forum if all "political" news put elsewhere?

Suppose it could be stuff like this. Works for me.

    Bangkok Post : Wonderful tonight

Bangkok Post : A word from the chiro

Bangkok Post : Eating smart with menopause

There is plenty of other Thai news other than political. Plenty of crime news to be reported on.

Just seems it would be a natural progression for the forum as it has grown.

There is. I read and hear on Thai TV everyday but most of it would be of little interest to broad number of members. One of many.

Bangkok Post : Three teens arrested for fatal brawl

And even with crime news do you really think members wouldn't make comments which you say make the news unreadable.

Yes they do. I really don't care as I never look at the forum an OP is in. If I see something interesting just open the thread. About the only thing a new sub forum would do is add confusion to an already incredibly confusing maze of forum/subforums. Must be 200 forums/subforums already. Do we really need another. I would favor getting the number under 50 rather than adding another.

Yet, this is not the BKK Post. TD still reserves the space for less subjective and alternate voices and punditry - unlike the Post.

Most of it is just spammed from the Post and Nation anyway.

How about a subforum for Ladies Only. A place where expat wives can discuss the perils of purchasing proper fitting bras in Thailand.

Whatever floats your boat, but you did enquire about creating a fishing sub-forum not long back. So I found your comment rather strange.

I did at that. Didn't get one. DD being stubborn and not seeing the value such a fine subforum would bring to the forum. Call it sour grapes but in spite of being a global mod you shouldn't get one either. Fair's fair.
