Thread: Formatting problem

Has anybody/everbody else lost the ability to format text (despite being on full WYSIWYG editing) prior to posting? Can't even get any line spaces.

nope.
I find that for bbcode firefox extension you need to have your settings on standard and not full though.

If you run into trouble in the text box, click on the far right button 'aA'... this switches modes into normal text input... you can then add the effects as ... etc by hand.

Thanks, didn't know what bbcode is but now tried installing bbcode 0.4.1.2, error message reads : cannot install 0.4.1.2 because it is not compatible with Firefox 1.5.0.7 (BBCode works only with Firefox versions 0.9 - 1.4). So either I do not have bbcode installed or the version I have is earlier and compatible with Firefox 1.5.0.7. Also, no installs/uninstalls or system adjustments made between the time it was formatting fine and stopped formatting, both yesterday.

BBCode 0.4.1.3 or BBCodeXtra 0.2.5.5

geronimo, seems he heard you and offed it! - only plobrem now is cursor inactive and any attempted use of the apostrophe sends instantly to search...had this once before and eventually did something that made it go away...now only a matter of time before I stumble on that again - monkeys and typewriters - so it seems all solved and many many thanks to you all.
