Only able to reply in HTML code?

This is weird. When writing a reply (either as a quick reply, a quote, or pressing the 'post reply' button) it is in html... and I can't change it back to normal. So pressing enter to start a new paragraph does bugger all etc. I'd have to type all that >adsfafd< >/asdfasff< nonsense that I'm illiterate in. It's a pain in the arse as the level I wit I have to share is simply mind boggling. How can I change it back? (Starting a new thread is fine, it's just while replying) Thanking you. EDIT Actually starting a new thread is not fine as this should be all nicely seperated into neat little paragraphs.... but it ain't. I had to do the bold tags just to boldify the word EDIT.

maybe reset your user options under userCP, edit options, Miscellaneous Options, Editor Interface.
OR.
you may have cached a corrupt copy of the javascript that controls the interface. or one of the other issues mentioned in this thread:

The editor interface had been changed to 'full wysywwys' or whatever it is.

Must of been the house spirits getting some payback for me not renewing the spirit house's bottle of dayglow pink fanta.
