It's a little scrolling box on the bottom left of the screen that allows users to converse with one another in real time. Allows conversations with multiple users at the same time.

I stopped going in because there was never anybody in there.

I'd prefer us all in a chat room like that rather than the main board but I guess most people don't.

i've never seen a good shout box, just imagine a few of the forum light weights yelling petty insults, much like the MKR, but in real time.....
