What powers all the lamps Alberta Oil, gas, hydro, nuclear or coal, tarsands?
Dad worked for the Canadian Pacific Railway back in the 40s and 50s. As such he got a free family pass which we used every year to go for a holiday to Lake Louise. Have fond memories of the trip and stay. Since then I have traveled the world but have yet to find a sight which surpasses the Canadian rockies while seated in the dome car on the train.
"Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect,"
So you were here in the 50's eh. I sometimes wonder how ppl fared in the cold back then. Old beaters with iced up carburators on the side of the road must have been a common sight. Jelled up fuel. Or ppl trying to get by with bald bias ply summer tires sliding everywhere. Ppl smoking indoors everywhere.
Is that how it was ?
We might drive down to lake Louise tomorrow
We always went in August so no snow, ice or blizzards.
Smoking was allowed everywhere.
Nary a trace of vegitarian, gluton free, low cholesterol et al food.
99.9% of tourists were white Canucks.
Political correctness didn't really exist.
A much different world than we all live in now.
Lovely.
It definitely looks fresh. Bottle the air and sell it on the darkweb.

It's a mk111 land-rover, long wheel base. actually probably a defender looking at the black on the front grill
It's a landrover for sure. I was wondering why skiddy had never seen one looks nothing like a Jimny ffs couldn't believe skiddy hadn't seen one athere's plenty in Australia. Due to the fact there bodies aluminium. And doesn't rust. Hard to find an original one usually we just stuck Holden motors in them..
As i was telling Edmond, i can't decide where i want to retire. Here or Pattaya.
Old railway bridge converted to a walk way
