Bad Bank

The german government has taken over a big bank, the HypoRealEstate and put the bad assets into some construct called a BadBank. From that there is a huge government debt.

Those bad assets have now been recalculated with the result that the debt of the Government is now 55 Billion Euro less than thought because of some previous calculation errors.

Well, minor miscalculations do happen.
