Thread: Harris Black, again

A word of caution about a serial scam/ sexual harassment con-artist active among us in Thailand

This is a recount of a very traumatic personal experience I have with lately. I was hosted by this man whose real name is Harris Black during my stay in Pattaya. He lives on the 26/F, View Talay Condominium, Central Pattaya near Beach Road. He uses fake names, photos and provides false profile information.

His last fake profile, Mitchell Terry (under which posts under this name can still be found under the Pattaya forum) has been removed by CS admin. There are several common traits on all his fake profiles:

1. He usually has no references because his profiles are always removed by CS admin regularly.
2. He tends to state that he lives in Pattaya for long and posts on Pattaya forum bits and pieces of information about the place to bolster his credibility.
3. He has a tendency to state that he is in late twenties.
4. He uses photos that look distinctively different from how he looks (see below).
5. Note his address above. He will seek to get you to go to his place directly. If he does not, remember the face below. If anyone you meet wherever looks exactly/ resembles him, beware.

His criminal behavior against me was to take compromising photos of me without my consent and come back blackmailing me for money/ information about his arrest warrant status.

Anty, I´m so sorry to hear that... I have to tell you that unfortunately I´ve met this guy in Pattaya, I could say I surfed his couch and I had troubles...
I didn't think to post anything on the forum because I complained to CS and they deleted his profile immediately, but honestly what he did was disgusting!

I've contacted him when I was in India, and we were exchanging emails for a while.
Once in Thailand I rang him and he told me to come over to Pattaya. He told me to go to the Hilton 7th floor and meet up in the reception... I thought, this is very weird, why I should I go to meet a guy in the Hilton? Whatever, I accepted...

I ask him by email:“How long do you think I can stay there with you? He replied to me: “CS is a service to you, the traveler. When it's time to go, it's time to go because you're the tourist and each day counts. Up to you”.
Once in Pattaya I stayed with him one night. The next day, he was asking in a roundabout way if I wanted to stay at his place or find a place with more privacy(¿?).

At 10pm, he told me: “you’re staying in a hotel tonight right?” He insisted again that I need privacy. I told him is not fair to tell me at 10pm to go to an hotel, which then I understood who was looking for the “privacy” was him.
He told me: “You know,I like girls and tonight I’ll go fishing to find a Thai prostitute to shag with, but don't worry, we wouldn't do anything until tomorrow morning”.

I agreed with him, that I would be leaving his place very early in the morning, when the light comes out, and I believed him (then I realized who will pay for a prostitute to fuck and not fuck until the morning?????), I believed he wouldn't be able to bring the prostitute at his place, as the flat was only 20 square meters and I was sleeping in the same room with him.

What an retard I am I thought later!

Around 11pm he went to bed... He told me, I go fishing around 2am, because they will be pissed already and I don't have to expend money with them inviting drinks...
His couch was just 1.5 meters from my couch, to my surprise I woke at 4am because I heard moans.
Only for a second I dared to open my eyes and I saw them both in doggy position... Dirty David, pumping away and rubbing his own nipples!!! DISGUSTING!

For a moment I thought, Rumi, you should leave, but I thought it wasn't a good idea at all (I wouldn't interrupt them!, sometimes it could be worse too!!!! you don't know how the other will react!) so, I turn on my mp3 with music and I tried to sleep,... but I couldn't.
After it, when the light was coming out, I pack my stuff, ready to leave, with a really bad taste CS experience....

I was very disappointed about the whole situation, because maybe I could avoid it leaving his house immediately when he told me to go to an hotel, but I was very upset because this is not the CS mentality/philosophy...

Well, I was ready to leave my first negative reference to him. His profile was open from 2008, he had like 45 positive references and 4 vouches.
I knew it, that If I leave a negative reference in exchange I'll receive a negative too (I think CS shouldn't leave the option to update a reference once you have left it!).
In fact, I've got my first negative reference immediately I left mine to him... With no arguments at all, telling: "I had to tell Rumi to leave my house because she is a very heavy smoker, is argumentative and she tried to make love to my girlfriend" ¿¿¿¿¿??????

CS delete his profile straight away... I was very very happy about it and how the community take very seriously this, no one can ruin this community!!!!

But, as you are telling Anty, he has thousands of emails addresses and faces...
Thaaaanks a lot for sharing what happened to you and thanks a lot to advice the others!

I feel sorry coz I didn't do anything about it(this was in April), but if I didn't is coz I never thought he will appear again in here!!!!

Dear all,

I'd like you to know that Mr. Black has been taken by the police for an interrogation session yesterday. With all the evidence I've provided, his lies - which is, he stated that the photos are downloaded from the Internet - have apparently not been accepted as a valid explanation to the criminal acts that he has done on me.

I am writing to let you all know - don't ever put up to bullies/ harassments. Help is always around the corner. Report it to the police is always better to keeping it to yourself and deeming that any actions would be futile.

The Pattaya TAT Police has been the one assisting me through this. If you have anything to report to regarding this man Harris Black or any other people, please take my word: take action, seek help and report to authorities.

Cheap scams and now blackmail, what a nice guy.
It seems he picked the wrong mark though with this 'Anty Fung'.
Wonder if anything will come of this? If so, I'd say it's next stop the Fil's or Cambo for Harris.
Or a nice warm jail cell in Canada.
