Your own real life Teakdoor moments...add yours

Getting several everyday Bangkok citizens to randomly pose with an A4 piece of card with 'Teakdoor Rocks' written on it.

Enjoying several drinks with LoyToy & Bkk Andrew, where we ended up on soi 33, on the wrong side of several strong alcoholic beverages.

My father phoning me up in 2005 telling me he'd just had a good read of the forum and that dirty dog was a genius, and if he ever gave me advice, I'd be wise to listen to it.

Threatening to smash Smeg's face in online then meeting him for a few beers alfresco in Siam Square where the lack of toilet facilities turned out to be legendary.

Smeg turning up when I DJ'ed an indie/britpop night in Silom. Nothing memorable happened though, apart from.....

Getting invited to a posh drinks party and dragging Wally Raffles along, and being the aussie that he is, he wore shorts. A fun time was had, rubbing shoulders with some expat 'elite'. Needless to say we were never asked back.

Knocking on dirty dog's door in Pattaya to ask to borrow a towel for the beach. He lent me one, being the nice guy that he is.

Some of you lot must have some moments.......

Getting drunk off my head with Loy Toy, Dalton, and Jizzy was one of my first real life Teak Door experiences, and if I could remember it I would tell you all about it.

Meeting up with Captain Sensible the first time was a bit of an anti climax, I expected someone more intelligent rather than a guy standing there talking about trolling and then giggling about it.

Far from me to cast aspertions, but Loy Toy seems to crop up a lot in these stories!

Is he the main TD piss up instigator?

excellent. I'll have to look out for one in Bangkok, then all i'll have to do is persuade she who can not be named to let me off the leash for 48 hours. Gold might be involved.

Probably not the main one, but a damn good one and I've only had one night out with him!

I can't remember any of those moments............

I suppose Larvidchr and I getting a text death threat (in English and Danish) has to be up there as a memorable TD moment.

Meeting up with AussieTigger to watch the final round of the British Open at his house last weekend.

Like the good guy he is, he supplied the alcohol and apparently i was well into cheering for Darren Clarke during the whole 18 holes although i have no recollection of the evening's events. Who won btw?

^ A wee bit of alcohol and good company mate. Difficult to beat wherever you happen to be sitting. Being a golfer myself helped a good deal i might add.

To my knowledge i have yet to meet any other TDers in person and although my disco days are well past, i don't wear slippers, socks with sandals or smoke a pipe, well not yet anyway.

Part 2 is the 14days as a pupae condensed down to 13 days, quite interesting if you have the time, part 3, the life of a butterfly kept in a jar is only 36 hours long though.
