What about Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers?
Ivor the Engine : 80s cartoons
Ah those were the days...a bag of fish for Mrs Thomas.
It's a toss up between Dogtanian and Willy Fogg for the pick of that bunch..both quality viewing.
Surely most of you were too old to enjoy cartoons in the 80s???
Actually, maybe I was a bit young.
Too old? Nah! These programmes weren't written for kids they're for teenage stoners, they put them on at lunchtime so when they got out of bed they had something good to watch with the first few spliffs of the day, kept them off the streets and out of trouble for a few hours.
Chorlton and the Wheelies... Brilliant!
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"
Damn, thought you could watch them.
Mysterious Cities of Gold, Dogtanian and Jase & the Wheeled Warriors would have been my first picks.
^
I was able to view Ivor the Engine.![]()
I'd like to see Dangermouse again. Roger Ramjet was another good one.
I like He-Man and Thundercats. Can anyone remember one called Mask?
Ulysses [sp]
This dude was the Chuck Norris of cartoons. Coolest cartoon bearded guy ever!Originally Posted by alwarner
