Ancient Alien Astronauts Theory: The Begining of All Religions

I recently downloaded an interesting special documentary series from DISCOVERY/History Channel called "Ancient Aliens - The Series"

I thought it was going to be about nutters and Alien conspiracy theories like X-Files or an expose on Scientology, but it turns out to be quite different.

The documentary series is presented with a number of lecturers, scientific, and authors who all made a credible presentation of their beliefs about Alien origin of the human species using ancient and existing artifacts.

I must admit that some of the discoveries and artifacts are quite troubling and will make you question the nature of our origin. The worst part is that ancient scriptures like the Bible, Koran, and even Buddha and Hinduism scriptures seem to support such a theory.

This is a summary of the different theories about our origin and futures:

- We come from the Syrus system (ancient tribes know the location in the sky)
- Earth was rich in minerals and might have been used as a mining operation, especially for Gold. It was littered with Gold and other "red ore" metals
- That could explain why the Incas had tons of it and using it for everything
- The first men were used as slaves and designed as such for mining operations
- One theory explain that when the mining operation was complete, they destroyed them, but it's unlikely
- Another theory says that mixing monkeys with their DNA didn't prove successful over the long run, monkey genes were too strong and men were acting like animals
- They wiped out the earth clean and started over with the DNA experiment
- This time they contributed more to technology and knowledge, making men a superior being instead of a slave
- Ancient civilizations were very smart, very advanced
- It's possible that they keep watching over us, and if they are too pissed off again about us acting like savage animals, they might wipe the earth clean once more
- Does 2012 means anything ?

I read about this stuff 25 years ago , i think it was a write up out of OMNI magazine, tried to explain, the importence of gold and the old batteried they found, something about a planet that orbits every 36000 years or something..kooky stuff but hey look at the bible

indeed, apparently there are precise description of alien spaceships in some of ancient Hindu scriptures with battles etc...

I read a lot from Erich von Däniken in the 80ies. I was fascinated but it really was easy enough to see the loopholes in the arguments.

I also read a book with articles from scientists arguing against him. I found that very surprising. Most of them were not arguing well at all but mostly with hate and disgust. Only one of them was good in my opinion. He gave Däniken some credit for his research but tore apart the arguments one by one using logic.

Today yes I would be afraid to read the stuff. I might strain some muscles laughing.

The Chariot of Fire book is indeed mentioned, but it goes further with artifacts, the planes they found, the landing strips etc...

there are at least 4 and 5 artifacts that you can't deny put a lot of interesting questions in perspective

- Peru: the perfectly cut top mountain
- The miniature Gold plane that can actually fly
- Sirius location in the stars by some ancient tribe who have been worshiping aliens for thousands of years
- Some Hindu scriptures
- The Pyramid star alignment with Sirius
- Some ancient building stones perfectly aligned and cut (can't remember the name)

The Egyptian pyramids are (or were) perfectly aligned with the stars also.

^ it was something in Mexico or Peru, the stones were huge and cut with laser perfection, something obviously not available at the time

they also question the size of the stones ? why make them so big ? unless they had machines to carry them. The Pyramids were completed rapidly with machines, not men.

Just as you put the goat in the yard to cut the grass, life as put here to do something to this planet. The lifespan of the life on earth we know might be nothing to another species of life. In no time their time the earth's wealth will be drawn to the surface and the planet will be vacant of all life. At that point whoever set life here in motion will have what they wanted. No matter what we might guess about our future and our possibilities, they know the end result of humanity.
