Did first humans come out of Middle East and not Africa?

Did first humans come out of Middle East and not Africa? Israeli discovery forces scientists to re-examine evolution of modern man

Scientists could be forced to re-write the history of the evolution of modern man after the discovery of 400,000-year-old human remains.
Until now, researchers believed that homo sapiens, the direct descendants of modern man, evolved in Africa about 200,000 years ago and gradually migrated north, through the Middle East, to Europe and Asia.
Recently, discoveries of early human remains in China and Spain have cast doubt on the 'Out of Africa' theory, but no-one was certain.

Professor Avi Gopher, a researcher from Tel Aviv University's Institute of Archaeology, holds a pre-historic tooth at Qesem cave, an excavation site near the town of Rosh Ha'ayin

The new discovery of pre-historic human remains by Israeli university explorers in a cave near Ben-Gurion airport could force scientists to re-think earlier theories.
Early humans: Middle Awash Aramis, Ethiopia, where the first 'modern' human beings were thought to have been discovered

Archeologists from Tel Aviv University say eight human-like teeth found in the Qesem cave near Rosh Ha’Ayin - 10 miles from Israel’s international airport - are 400,000 years old, from the Middle Pleistocene Age, making them the earliest remains of homo sapiens yet discovered anywhere in the world.
The size and shape of the teeth are very similar to those of modern man. Until now, the earliest examples found were in Africa, dating back only 200,000 years.
Other scientists have argued that human beings originated in Africa before moving to other regions 150,000 to 200,000 years ago.
Homo sapiens discovered in Middle Awash, Ethiopia, from 160,000 years ago were believed to be the oldest 'modern' human beings.
Other remains previously found in Israeli caves are thought to have been more recent and 80,000 to 100,000 years old.

A group of international and Israeli researchers have discovered pre-historic artefacts and human remains at the site that may prove the earliest existence of modern man was about 400,000 years ago

The findings of Professor Avi Gopher and Dr Ran Barkai of the Institute of Archeology at Tel Aviv University, published last week in the American Journal of Physical Anthropology, suggest that modern man did not originate in Africa as previously believed, but in the Middle East.
The Qesem cave was discovered in 2000 and has been the focus of intense study ever since.
Along with the teeth – the parts of the human skeleton that survive the longest – the researchers found evidence of a sophisticated early human society that used sharpened flakes of stone to cut meat and other impressive prehistoric tools.

The Israeli scientists said the remains found in the cave suggested the systematic production of flint blades, the habitual use of fire, evidence of hunting, cutting and sharing of animal meat, and mining raw materials to produce flint tools from rocks below ground.
'A diversified assemblage of flint blades was manufactured and used,' the Tel Aviv scientists wrote, describing the tools they found in the cave.
'Thick-edged blades, shaped through retouch, were used for scraping semi-hard materials such as wood or hide, whereas blades with straight, sharp working edges were used to cut soft tissues.'

The explorers said they were continuing to investigate the cave and its contents, expecting to make more discoveries that would shed further light on human evolution in prehistoric times.

As I have always said , the first man was 'white' , as we were covered from head to toe in hair, why would skin pigment be needed ?
later some men headed down to Africa and developed dark skin etc ,
this new evidence shows that scientists will soon be coming around to my theory too !
They wrongly said we never interbred with Neandertals - I said we did -
I was proved right on that -
    takes a bow.

And gorilla's and chimpanzee's. And blue.

Unfortunately the progenitors of the Jews themselves migrated to Israel from what is now northern Iraq.

Well, I also got some good news. They just found the tomb and remains of my Ole Granny.

Celtic tomb hailed as great archaeological find

Online: Celtic tomb hailed as great archaeological find - The Local

In a discovery described as a “milestone of archaeology,” scientists have found a 2,600-year-old aristocratic burial site at the Celtic hill fort at Heuneburg in Baden-Württemberg.

The noblewoman's tomb, dating from early Celtic times, measures four metres by five metres, and is exceptionally well-preserved. It contained gold and amber jewellery that makes possible for the first time the precise dating of an early Celtic grave.

Using heavy cranes, the excavation team lifted the entire burial chamber out of the ground as a single block of earth and placed it on a special truck so that it could be carried off for further analysis.

The dig leader and state archaeological chief Dirk Krausse labelled the find a “milestone of archaeology.”

Judging by the ornamentation in the chamber, the archaeologists believe the tomb was built for a woman from the nobility of the Heuneburg fort, though this couldn’t be said with certainty until further investigations could be made under laboratory conditions.

Click here for a photo gallery of the dig.
This will be done by the State Office for the Preservation of Monuments in Stuttgart. Initial results are expected to be announced in June 2011.

The Heuneburg hill fort site is considered one of the most significant archaeological sites in central Europe and possibly the oldest settlement north of the Alps.

It has been the focus of intense interest because it reflects socio-political developments in early Celtic Europe when, after about 700 BC, wealth, population and political power began to be concentrated in small areas.

It was the area of a large settlement from about 700 BC and became one of the key centres of power and trade in southern Germany.

Science, especially the field of genetics as been controlled by politically correct Marxist liberals for the last sixty odd years. Saying we all originated in Africa was concocted to make us all feel warm and fuzzy, and erroneously believe were all the same. If you're a scientist and don't follow this line of thinking you don't get published are wil be labelled a nutter, racist, etc. That is why I say that guys like Richard Dawkins and his followers are no different then foaming out the mouth creationist, they are both dogmatic in their belief we are all the same, if you believe in evolution, you can't believe that shit.

I didn't think Marxists were very PC at all, especially in the US. Senator McCarthy agrees.

People evolved from Londinium, and have been de-evolving ever since; the further they get from source the further de-evolved they are, and as Auckland is the furthest city from source... well, you can work it out from here on in...

As for this Middle East idea... who knows. We'll likely find another older 'man' (or woman ) in South America in a dcade or two, then Canada...

I'm a liberal and I like it. I think it's a good thing that scientists are continually searching to refine our understanding of where and how we evolved. The history of science is a constant quest for better knowledge and a more perfect theory, and from the earliest times scientists have been willing to throw out old theories and formulate new ones as new evidence is discovered. That's what makes scientists different from creationists and all other religious nutcases. I'm pretty sure Richard Dawkins isn't the least bit upset by this.
