    Siam Park, Tenerife

I'll be spending a couple of days in this place during my approaching two-week break. It looks like a lot of fun, and far better than Thailand's Siam Park. Will take lots of photos and let you know.Siam Park Tenerife, The water kingdom!

    Looks nice on the site.

Doesn't look like they have enough cheap Thai girls to shag though.
    So not authentic, really.

So beautiful to see the poor, poor Europeans creating such a park based on the beautiful Kingdom.

    Three cheers for Thailand!

Thais can be proud of the poor European's jealousy, and having to create such a place because they don't live in one.

Lately I have met a number of Brits who formerly spent their vacations in Tenerife and Spain but now have decided on Thailand as their preferred destination.

The operators there probably have adopted the policy.........if you can't beat em, join em.

It looks great, right? I think it's a fitting tribute by Europe to a country that bases 95% of its infrastructure and material usage (clothing, concrete buildings, roads, transport, electrical items etc) on European inventions and designs. Plus as it looks far better than anything of its type in Thailand, and as the climate there is more pleasant than in Thailand (if similarly a little too hot for most of the year), it should be a fabulous experience.

Dunno where you do your research, but I suggest you try again
Tenerife Weather Forecast, Climate, When to Go: Weather in Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain
The months of December and January have average daytime temperatures of around 21°C / 70°F, although night times can often feel much cooler.
Spring is a particularly popular time of the year to visit Tenerife, when temperatures rise slightly from February and March onwards, averaging around 22°C / 72°F. By April and May, average daytime temperatures hover around 24°C / 75°F, with endless sunny weather and an enormous variety of micro-climates around the island.
Although the temperatures are high during the summer weather, peaking in July and August at around 30°C / 86°F, the dry climate is pleasant and not uncomfortably hot.
Tenerife's autumn weather and climate is particularly pleasant and only slightly different than the summer months. Autumn temperatures average around 27°C / 81°F in late September / early October, falling to 22°C / 72°F by late November.

^ That data is average 24 hours temperatures. My data is average daytime temperatures, and as normal people don't go to water parks at night, I'll stick with my data thanks.

You are right, of course. I hear that they will also be demolishing and rebuilding Venice to make it more like the Venice of the EastFrom thisTo this

    Life in Italy:

    Thailand:

See how easy it is to flip it.

Thought you would have realized that taking two random images to make a point just makes you appear desperate and well, not very smart, but hey, that's a McDonald's TEFLer for you. Oh well...

So are you going to invent another GF to go to *snigger* Tenerife, or are you going to go alone?

Happens to most Poms that go anywhere near sunshine as they are just not conditioned for it. At least your still got hair DD and to protect your scone.

And Mao that was really nasty of you.

Smegma had been working all day to come up with something he thought was witty and you pole~axed him.

    Foking hilarious anyway.

Which is exactly what you have done, but not me. If you had been to Venice, which a Europe-hater like you obviously hasn't, you'd know that my top photo is typical of the houses built along the sides of the canals there, which I compared with typical houses built along the clogged polluted canals in the Venice of the East. So what will your next "desperate, not very smart" response be to that?
