How often do you get out & have some 'fun'?

How often do you get out & have some 'fun'? 'Fun' in this context is defined as going out without your partner for an evenings entertainment. Typically what does an evening of 'fun' entail for you?


As a sub thread, how often do you permit your partner to have a 'fun' night out without you? Do you ever wonder what they get up to or can you trust them implicitly?

Last time I went out with anyone was to watch The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe with friends last December. My 19th is coming up and I doubt I'll be doing anything for that either.

This does not include getting drunk or laid.

It simply means going out and having fun.

I am not home very often.

I remarried less than eight months ago after being divorced for over 18 years. His idea of "going out" is playing golf with his friends. My best friend moved to the "left coast" of the States, so I don't have a partner in crime anymore.

We are still at the stage of staying in -- completely absorbed in each other.

Any ideas on how long this can last? We missed our first opportunity with each other 35 years ago and are trying to make it up. We keep saying that we can't possibly keep up this level of fascination with each other, but it doesn't appear to diminish.

My wify does not drink, smoke, take any substances so she's not worth taking out that is until she learns to drive. In the mean time I have to rely on me pals for an evening's entertainment which normally involves all off the above in large amounts.

I tend to go out a couple of times each week. Sometimes i dont mean to go out and will go on the motorci for some pork sticks and sticky rice and then arrive home 6 hours later steaming lagging full of booze. This happens quite often. I call these evenings "accidents"......I have at least 2 of these per week. I love my life here in Thailand

God, no.....this is my third marriage, and I hope I've learned something about maintaining some level of mystery.

Plus, he works at his other office 100 miles away at least 2 days a week -- I'm convinced that provides a buffer from too-much-togetherness.

But he did start belching after a beer, finally. Ohmigod, is this the beginning of the end?!

I usually get away somewhere every couple of month or so for a weekend of drinking and whoring although recently on my trips away it's been more drinking and looking at temples.

My wife goes down to see her Uni mates in Bkk about as often as I get away, I'm pretty sure she does'nt go whoring....she probably give's it away for free

It all depends on Ms. B's work schedule. I never go out if she's home. If she's working I get out once a week; maybe twice. But, it's just to a pub for a few beers and then head on home. Last time was Saturday. It took an hour to walk to the pub. I drank Tiger beer for a couple of hours and then made the hour walk home.
