If you are Canadian and are killed by the Thai police your life is worth a transfer to the Thai policeman, think back to the Pai shootings by the Thai policeman, 1 canadian killed and one wounded, so Canadians aint worth much...

If you are American and you argue with a Aussie and get executed in a Chiang Mai restaurant your life is worth 2 years of an Aussie being in a Thai prison, yep thats all you are worth, although I thought 2 years was a bit harsh when Canadians aint worth nothing, but hell, I aint Thai.

Unless the part(ies) involved in the farang's murder are cop(s). Then his life is worth approximately zero irrespective of nationality. Revisit the Kanchanaburi case- everyone was afraid to testify, and some clown was as I recall somehow persuaded to confess to the murder. One thing to bear in mind is that this is also true for Thais. Chop a girl's arm off because she won't let you rape her and what do you get, if you are cop that is?

There are a lot of "Brit's", especially in the Pattaya area most notably, and other nationality's that are worth less than the shit the soy dogs leave on the roads, still I naturally think the Thai Police must afford due process also to the farang heaps off shite, in this case a big poo bag, a big bin, and quick combustion should suffice.
