Ok, I think most of us will agree the UK is right down deep in that shitter, it has been on that downward spiral for the last 20 years, giving families money because they are good at breeding but not so good at working for a living, my son is 17 but has never got a cent from the UK because I don't go for religion so never bothered getting married, but I'm sure if he flew to the UK and mentioned ASYLUM he would get a nice house and loads of money, trouble is he actually wants an education and wants to work for living so that idea is blown out.

Actually I shall post a series of emails from the Brit embassy in Bangkok, I want my son to spend 3 months there and i would like to take my girlfriend there, now my son is a nasty scummy thai person cos I never got married, so they aint gonna like him having a holiday there, my girlfriend who I have lived with for about 15 years is also obviously scum because she won't know what color toothbrush I use as we use different bathrooms, so there is a good chance that both will be refused, should be interesting.

Happy day

On 3 March, I visited the children at Chulalongkorn Hospital and opened Happy Day activity which is organised annually by the G4s, a British security solutions group, to support disabled, HIV-infected, poor, disadvantaged and underprivileged children and orphans. There were about 30 children who were able to come out and join the activity. I was very impressed by the children’s welcoming Hawaiian dance show!

Can't be any worse than dealing with the so-called "Counsler Section" of the US Embassy. I wouldn't wish the experience of going back there on even Ant for example. Although, having said that, the US Embassy in Singapore ain't no better...at least it's cleaner.

Getting to the embassy:

Our office is located in central area at 14 Wireless Road , close to the Swiss Embassy, Wave Place and the Central Chidlom Department store.

The most comfortable and convenient way to get to the Embassy is by public transport.

By Sky train
We are very close to Phloenchit station.

From Phloenchit station, take exit number 1 into the Wave Place building. The exit to Wireless Road is on the ground floor (beside a dry cleaners and photo shop). The Embassy is on the opposite side of Wireless Road.

By Taxi
Bangkok has thousands of taxis, and finding one at any time is never a problem. Take a taxi and ask to be dropped off at 'The British Embassy, 14 Wireless Road'.

By Bus
Bus number. 62, 76, and mini air bus No.10, stops right outside our main gate on Wireless Road.

Parking
We regret to inform you that there is no public parking space. The nearest available parking is in the Waveplace Building.

Security
Due to the global threat currently posed by terrorism, and the targeting of embassies, we do our utmost to ensure a safe and secure environment for your visit.

Please co-operate with the security team as they conduct their checks and controls, each of which should take only a few minutes. The security measures in place are for the benefit of all visitors and staff.

Visitors to our office will have to go through the security checkpoint at the entrance. Mobile phones and electronic devices are not allowed into the building.

Public opening hours
We provide consular services for passport applications, birth and death certificates and other consular documentation. Hours are:

Mon-Thurs: 08:00-11:00 / 13:00-15:15
Fri: 08:00-12:00

I take it that Quinton denied your girlfriend's & son's visa application...

Don't feel bad, they fook us all over... My ex's MIL who is a foreign national, applied for a US tourist visa 3 times and was denied each time... This is a lady with 2 businesses, a home that was paid for, money in the bank, etc... I even offered to file an Affidavit of Support guaranteeing that she would not be a burden to the state if she stayed in the US... Yet the borders are like an open sieve, allowing illegal to come across at will...
