Sudan man forced to 'marry' goat

You just can not make these stories up.

The above was reported on the BBC today.
The local council forced the man to marry the goat and pay "her" (hopefully) a $ 50 dowry after he was found having pre-marital sex with the animal.

immediately rushed outside to find Mr Tombe with his goat.
"When I asked him: 'What are you doing there?', he fell off the back of the goat, so I captured and tied him up".


As if this was Sudan's biggest problem.
