Me and the wife like to go for a 2 hour massage once or twice a week and normaly tip 100 each if it was a good massage.

Most of the time the girlfriend and I will both get a massage at the same time and she’ll do the paying/tipping. She believes I tip toooo much and I might.
She’ll tip the girls about 50 to 80 baht for a one hour foot massage,…depending on the rate of the massage. She’ll tip the girls up to 100 baht for an hour and ½ massage, depending on the quality of the massage. They do seem to be happy with what they received from her.


I still find it unbelievable that someone will massage you/me/us for an hour and only want 8 US dollars. Here in Miami, the cost runs between 65 to 120 dollars for just under an hour. Maybe that’s why I will over-tip the girls,……..guilt.
