Question Is the bank open today?

Okay let me first justify this, I could log onto msn messenger and ask a Thai acquaintance this simple question but because of willy measuring between Steve Jobs and Bill Gates, Apple has been reluctantly handed a version of msn messenger that has not been updated since 1992 and does not allow one to chat to a selected contact whilst appearing offline.

The reason I need to go to the bank is as gripping as it gets. I want to deposit a couple of thousand baht into my Kasikorn account so that I can put 10 Euros credit on Skype.

Nice one Fondles, have a green.

See this is what the forum should be about. Expats all in the same boat, helping each other out and standing shoulder to shoulder in multi-national unity - instead of 95% bitching and squabbling and baiting and attacking and mocking and moaning and complaining and slagging off and alluding that one has a family etc...

I didnt think anyone actually went inside banks any more, unless they work in one, or thats where the ATM machine is located.

I just used an ADM machine for the first time in my life which is a big leap for somebody who has always hated putting paper money into machines. Yeah the K bank was closed, but now you can deposit money from the outside!!! Is that amazing or what, I suppose some of you might think I'm a bit sad for only having just made this discovery. But I'd still rather do it the old fashioned way, I mean it worked this time but what's to stop somebody putting two scoops of vanilla ice cream into the cash bay when the flap retracts?

The 'M' stands for machine, as it does in ATM. You just got ripped off typing out the redundant 7 letters.

Odd, mine was updated in 2009, or you could use any of the multitudes of multi-chat clients that all allow you to send offline messages.

    As always, you personalize FAIL.

Yep, gotta run to the bank, while those more fortunate than you in the brain department just top up their skype accounts via Paypal, or credit / debit cards, or use online banking.

Is that how you pay your sex tourist bills? By Paypal or BT?

And where does the money in Paypal come from?

Quack Quack you are more often than not, thicker than two short planks and a brick in a shed with very few sharp tools and a bag of hammers.

    Mate, use this!!!

    aMSN - Opening your communication

It is MSN for all platforms, offline messaging, fully customizable, even does video chat....if that's your kind of thing..

It syncs up with your windows live email account and you can add other email accounts too. It is Messenger, only better.

Works well on OSX. I use it (but not for the video conferencing...of course).

^ Thanks for this Stronty, it doesn't look very nice but it is more up to date. Thing is, it keeps crashing, I've had to force quit twice already. I'll try re-installing/restart.

Scampy before you siphoned the trust fund, maybe you should invest into this:

NY School of Film and Acting: MASTER OF FINE ARTS DEGREE PROGRAM
    New York Film Academy

They have office in London, and even China

What a ridiculous idea, Butterfly. No-one in the film business is interested in degrees and such, they look for talented film makers on You Tube. Everyone knows that.
