But I just got done watching 8 Thai girls and 2 Thai men fighting right in front of the house. I grabbed my video recorder, but the battery was dead.

Any of you witness any good brawls involving Thais?

Well, they are at it again.

Every time I go along to one of these morlam music shows, there are many fights. Mostly drunk male teenagers, squabbling over some chick. Very entertaining it is, about a month ago we were sitting on a bench at one of these shows and a guy approached a lad in front of us from behind and smashed a small soda bottle on his head. The "attacker" legged it and the "victim" dusted himself down and carried on chatting to his mates like nothing had happened.

I've been really disappointed by the quality of the fistfights I've seen in Thailand among Thais, in terms of skills on display. Saw more and better fights growing up in South Jersey. Makes me think the really good guys generally don't get into street fights. . .

The best smackdown I ever saw was when some Thai guy tried to impress a very calm and collected Israeli with his Muay Thai on Sukh many years ago. He wound up impressed face down in the sidewalk. The Israeli just walked away with a somewhat apologetic look on his face, and mumbled what sounded like "What else could I do?" at me as he stolled past.
