    Thai charachters in our village!

There are a number of unusual character around here, the vomitting morning drunks, the dispossed, the alchololics, the fools.

Bu there is actually one lady my heart goes out to, I often refer to her as the "TABLE" she is like a modern art project, the old woman must be 60-70 years old, and has this back problem that makes here bend at a perfect right angle at the base of her spine!

I believe the Thai Beaureau of statistics use her as a calibration model for all right angled set squares!

Besides this, if this poor old woman was living in the Uk or the USA - by god, especially if she was a BLACK!, she would have disability pensions, old age pensions, infirmity pensions...pension upon pension!

Every day, I watch "The Table" take her push bike, all you can see from behind is her cobwebbed old ass and her hat, she is parallel to the crossbar, and she pedals like hell. She is quite amazing to be honest!

Then I found out that she is "employed" at about 100 baht a day, by the Orbitor...to pull weeds!

They must have thought it was easy for her as she was already 90 degrees to the floor already,...she doesn't need to bend down...she's bent already!!!

Good Luck Mother! hope you enjoy your retirement the same!!!

(My mother is a greedy scrounging tight fisted twat to be honest...she would have benefited from a few years picking grass from the orbitor!) Every single sentence she finishes with "NEVER MIND" as if she apologises for others! But that is family for you, what can you do?

Too Bad, seems like one of those in every village.
We got on in Nangua that has the same back/spinal default, must be hell.
But we also have a few nuts.
One is a female about 50 I would guess, wife says all her life they have had trouble keeping her cloths on her, which is not a great thing to see even tho just looking at her you would never know that she was that many bricks shy of a full load, But I would not have minded seeing her about 30 years ago in the least.
Then there is one that I have only heard about as they keep him chained up in the yard so i have never seen his act,
And there's the one that thinks he is one of the knights of the square table and challenges mocycles and cars with a long Bamboo lance, but he rides his charger out of the road when a truck comes along,, to big for him to fuck with, which proves he ain't a complete idiot.

Walks around with 2 twirling blades.

    Terrific chap.

You can choose you freinds but you are stuck with your family.
    or
You can pick your nose, you can pick your friends but your are either lucky or strangely afflicted or both if you can pick your freind's nose.

There are many of these kind of people here in HCMC and the humbling thing is that they get on with life. So it's dealt them a shitty hand but they deal with it. Not like those snivelling, thieving, dirty, low life scum bags claiming benefits back in the UK. But enough of their good points.............

SIR! PLEASE GET DOWN OFF THE SOAP BOX, KEEP YOR HANDS IN THE AIR AND BACK AWAY REAL SLOWLY.

I like the way village society takes care of it's eccentrics, handicapped, elderly and infirm. Not so keen on the way it gives the willfully, chronically useless a free ticket, but i guess thats part of the overall thing.
