I have spent quite a bit of time in South Africa and find that I catch up on my sleep and rest every time I am there.

What a shit hole of a country when you can't even walk down the street or beach without an armed guard.

I was even warned by the hotel staff about walking down the Gunstan beach promenade at 2.00pm on a sunny saturday afternoon.
