    Is TeakDoor a fascist movement?

Ever thought of expanding and being more tolerant DD?

How about a forum for Mac users for example instead of having us in the pen with all those uber conservative and un-PC PC users?

This would separate the creative and intelligent computer users from the PC users, I only know of a handful of Mac posters, Melvbot, Cimboc and Quack Quack (who doesn't like me anymore because I didn't respond to somebody else's advice within twelve hours).

Butterfly was a Mac user but apparently defected to the PC camp, I bet he loves his Mac really.

I bet there's must be many more Mac users but in the closet, a bit like the pooves on the forum - actually while we're at it there's no forum for pooves either which is why they are all too afraid to come out and be themselves which is sooooo 1986.

Some professional people I have met know of this forum but say it is full of grown men calling each other gay like in a school playground which is of course totally untrue. But imagine the exposure if you catered for more than just people who are definitely not gay and who still use a PC.

You could also open up to black people and perhaps also have a forum for ex expats and those now living overseas. You could make this place as big as ThaiVisa and have a Cat Owners forum, a Footcare forum and an Iodine forum, how about a forum for people from Winnipeg or one devoted to angle grinders?

    Just an idea.

Good idea, perhaps there could even be a sub-forum for thickies who can't even maintain a working copy of PS?

^That is a distinct possibility. They are also a cult on the lunatic fringe.

Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, I had a friend.
Dunno if he was gay. Possibly. But one bright sunny day I happened to raise the Taboo Subject. They say you should stay away from politics and religion in conversation. Those are easy, quiet subjects in comparison to MacMania.

^ They look Japanese those birds do, anyway - women love me more than English Noodles, my invite to November Rain's leaving party is only a matter of minutes away.

I think I have frightened off all the closet homos with this thread, Peter Cook put it very well if you look at his comments to Dudley Moore on Jizzyblokes thread in Multimedia.

Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Vectorworks, 3D Studio Max, AutoCad etc. all work the same on a PC as they do on a Mac. I worked on a Mac for years and swictched to PC because I slowly became convinced that Macs were all about hype. Mac users are more creative. Rubbish.

Yes, but Macs cost more and they're pretty. And if you ignore the facts they're better built and last for millions of years.

Does the term PC not mean Personal Computer?
Is the mac not a personal computer?
Is the mac therefore also not a 'PC'?
Just a bugbear with me, that's all.

I think the mac is supposed to be a PSPM ( personal style projection machine )

to go with a car analogy - - just because you have a flash fast car does not mean you know how to drive or fix it in any serious way , but you are likely to think it gives the impression that you are extremely competent in driving and mechanicals to all the other weak minded knobs.
If you torture data for enough time , you can get it to say what you want.

At the end of the day a computer is just a tool, the same as a camera or a paintbrush - what you do or create with that tool is ultimately for the user to take credit for.

Macs are disliked by Windows users for no other reason than instinct, in the same way that the north rival the south, Pepsi rivals Cola and Christians rival Islam.

There are conversions of course, the there's far more Windows users that convert to Mac than the other way around.

Apple is a very arrogant company, and loves itself too much - it's products are of high quality though, they are immune to pop ups and viruses and are very user friendly and do cater especially toward the creative, however they are not perfect and they're accessories are a rip off.

Yes they are easy on the eye but that's no more poofy than liking an Aston Martin DB7. Windows/PC users have machines which are cheap to produce and on the whole reliable*, a bit like a Ford Capri or a Honda Jazz.

    * Except for the relentless pop ups and errors and unwanted viruses and notifications.

I dislike them because MacOS is not as easy to use as XP is. I ridicule them because they cost half as much again as PC for the same thing.

How so? If this is the case, how come creative software (such as Photoshop) works better on my PC than it does on your Mac (as I showed you)?

It's more like you're paying Aston Martin prices for a Jazz when you buy a Mac.
