Thinking of doing a runner from this dodgy country to an even dodgier one... Any assistance appreciated.

The Trent is a river, and Stoke is a town. Suppose it could have been called Stoke under Hill, as there is a small hill nearby.

^ Just got back from 2+ weeks in the PI... I have to admit I'm considering it, but it has it's negatives also... Absolute crushing poverty, lack of education, scams abound and personal safety is not a given... You can get western products, everyone speaks at least some English and they like Merkins... Well, they like our money anyway...

Closest thing to Patts is Angeles City, which truly is a shit hole...
