Recalling those years in NZ, this term was used almost in rhetorical reverence. Even sarcastic, if not the older literal usage {not the 'lout' or disruptive prick}. But the more evolved definition: Temperate uptight intolerant Calvinist Kunt. NZ is more likely to have it's share of wowsers than so Oz....still known to be a wee bit Victorian {??}.
