The thread title alone made it worth a look.

Hey Pot, you still awake?
Yep a nice pub and we (Mrs LT and I) enjoyed ourselves.
Good luck with the venture!![]()
Mr Pot owns a pub? Given the state he is in I can't see that lasting long![]()
Funny the number of bar owners that end up drinking most of the profits...Originally Posted by MeMock
No the pub is owned by Thais and he manages it.Originally Posted by MeMock
I was referring to the bar being successful which of course would secure his long term employment and future here.
Sorry for the confusion!![]()
Even worse as it isn't his money he is drinking away or his customers that he is losing.
Sorry for being so pessimistic but I can't for the life of me understand how you can have an official opening of any kind of business and as the manager go on a two day bender.
I hope it is a one off and if so, good luck.
News is what someone, somewhere is trying to suppress - everything else is just advertising.
Mulligans on Kao San Road!
We attended the official opening last night!

Haha, nice try KW but no cigar!
Actually I remember once my Editor, journalist and I went to a quizz night and made up a table with 3 others. One of the questions that evening was "what was on the front page of last weeks paper (my paper)"
Do you think any of us could remember. We were the laughing stock of the entire room for the rest of the night.
Good luck to him then, I won't be going if it's on KSR though.Originally Posted by Loy Toy
Actually, and after all of my years here in Bangkok last night was the first time I had ever ventured down there.Originally Posted by English Noodles
Actually it surprised me as it was quite vibrant and very well patronized by elbow benders up and down the street.
Pot's bar is also very nice and worth a visit, and that's if you like Irish Bars.
Mulligans in Geneva, Switzerland also rocks..
Classic.
