Dum Di Dum Di Dum...6am Jan 1st. Feel GREAT!

Wot YOU don't mate? Got a hangover have we?

Not me. Had a quiet holiday. Just me and my beloved dogs.

Refused all invites to boring parties where I would have ate and drank too much.

Didn't spend cash on presents or booze. So today I am feeling really fine!

No hangover. No hole in my bank account. Best holiday time I ever had.......

I'll repeat it next time for sure.

I had a few drinks and some finger foods with friends at the local shop, and was back home around 11pm. Aussie bloke brought a nice bottle of shiraz- a treat , German bloke brought a bottle of some Thai fruit wine- not a treat . Went upstairs to the verandah with a glass of wine just before midnight, from where I get a nice, albeit distant view of the various firework displays going off in Pattaya, Jomtien, Naklua, Mabprachan, local house & village parties and so on. Real impressive one around Mabprachan actually- Horseshoe Point maybe?

And now i'm off to the village shop for my first beer of 2009.

Cooked some nice salmon steaks for me and Mrs bb, watched a bit of tv, played with the dogs. Had an early night with a good book.

    Happy 2009, everyone.

Oh well, better to get it now instead of 4 weeks time when I'm on holidays.

What ever happened to the good old days when everybody would be smashed by midnight packed in a party with standing room only. Then as the clock ticked down (on the radio), at the stroke of midnight everybody would be madly sticking their tongues down as many of the throats of those of the opposite sex as possible. I am sure a lot of those bastards just came along so they could have an excuse to pash my girlfriends.

Arr.. dont really miss those youthful days much now. Too much bloody effort involved.

I finished a long shift at 1800 on the 31st, had a feed and a few/several beers and hit the sack before the magic moment ticked over.

Was going out to a bar in Phuket Town , about 8 km away, but popped out first to the local miniTesco 2km away to get some cat food.
Was stopped at 2 police checkpoints - decided to stay at home instead !!

Too many BIB around stopping every body who looked like they were non Thai.
    Licence-helmet-tax disc- visa etc etc.

Thais without helmets were whizzing past all the time !!!!

The Loy Toy's and friends had a great time and I will post some pictures when I can find my camera.

The fireworks went down a treat and the last thing I can remember is draging myself out of the jacuzzi at about 3.00am!

Again Happy New Year to one and all!

Watched "Most Annoying People of 2008", about 3 hours long and CMN was nowhere to be seen. Funnly enough the most annoying person was apparently annoying for her "over exposure" and yet I'd never heard of nor seen her before.

Hit a load of gogo bars in Pattaya, got pissed as a sack, passed out.

Also found some photos on my camera today with my knob in a check bin thing from a few nights ago.

And that is a "supermodel???" looks like that undernourished bitch Paula Yates the one that married that door necking masturbating pervert from Australia...what was his name...(Michael Hutchings??) liked a good Yark of his plonker with a rope around his neck...(Could have been a Tory MP for the UK if he had set his mind to it) probably more fun than that Irish tosser she married earlier, Geldof! (The poooooor Bankers son!)

I've been in the UK for 6 months and had never heard of her.

It was one of those programs where minor celebrities moan about slightly less minor celebrities being annoying by appearing on slightly more annoying programs moaning about David Beckham and the Queen.

I only watched it to see of Momo would make an appearance.
