Don't you think Scenic Asia is better? Less limiting.

Also, the rules are crap as usual. How about the following...?

1. Must be able to provide proof that you took the photo.

2. Poster must have registered more than 60 days at the time the competition thread is posted.

3. Poster must have more than 100 posts at the time the competition thread is posted.

4. Only one entry per competition.

5. Picture must not be more than 800 x 800 pixels and no more than 200kbs in size.

6. No limitations on the use of post-production enhancements.

7. Prize must be collected/used within 90 days of the prize being given.

Simple enough?

Most people need a fair bit of time to organise a trip, to somewhere as far away as Samui.

How exactly do you do that, then.

Those rules sound fine to me, there should as Nawty pointed out only be one entry posted per peron in the poll, but they can post as many as they like up to that point to gauge public opinion as to which one to choose.

Will in be a multiple choice poll or a one person one vote poll?

Not possible for most people. The tags on the photo should reveal what camera it was taken on and that should match at least. Negatives would work for old-skool shots.

I've seen references to RAW files before, but have no idea what one is. My camera saves everything as a .jpg.
