Stuff for sale at outragious prices....

This appeared recently...anyone know which bars it is...interested as to which bars in which nightlife area are worth 120 million baht combined....also could be interested to attend on behalf of members here and check out the vip area when it is open...for research...

Investment opportunities are being offered in one of Bangkok's leading Adult Entertainment Groups. The highly experienced management team have been operating a chain of go-go bars in one of the city's premier nightlife zones since 1995, and are seeking funds to realise radical expansion plans. Shares are being offered for 1,000 baht per share, and 50 percent of the company is available for 60,000,000 baht, although the minimum investment is for 500 shares, costing 500,000 baht. The group's showcase venue is to be completely renovated, and will be augmented by the opening of a VIP Private Member's Club, and the acquisition of a neighbouring Hotel, which is to be thoroughly revamped. An executive summary has been prepared for interested investors to examine, along with a detailed business plan. (BKK13493)
Minimum Investment to Own: 500,000 baht for 500 shares.

Then reading this thread some time ago, I was interested to see this below at the quoted prices.....

    https://teakdoor.com/farming-and-gard...-the-farm.html

This large Rubber Plantation sits on 75 rai (120,000 square metres) of freehold land, is covered by Nor Sor Sam Kor land title deeds, and sits in Loei Province, in the north of Thailand. Located just off the main Wang Saphun to Pu Rua road, the land already has a small restaurant, constructed right next to the road, a house for the employees and a storage room onsite. The rubber crop will be ready for harvest in four years time, and the expected return at today's prices is 200,000 baht. As there is ample vacant space on the large tract of land, the owner was planning to also construct a resort and house, to take advantage of the beautiful scenery. An asking price of 1,000,000 baht per rai has been set. (BKK13485)
Total Investment to Own: 75,000,000 baht.

    Any comments ?????

^ Exactly. You can still get fairly central land down here (that can be owned outright) for a million a rai. Grade 3 land in Northern Thailand for that amount? Hmmm...
I was offered 14 rai Grade 3 here (between Cha Am & Hua Hin) for just under a million all told. Existing buildings & fruit orchard, as well.

Pay 500,000b in advance to have your ass licked? That's insane given that people will do the same on a pay as you go basis.

I think we all know who's website they are from and they support the ripping off of their customers by supporting such ludicrous sales.

Buyer beware and all for sure, but the rippoff starts somewhere and fat freddy is putting in his share of fuel.

A million quid for a rubber plantation! The interest alone on a million quid is over 8000 baht per day.

As investments go not tooooo bad a deal as the daily income would more than make up for it . . . but a lot of it is empty and the existing trees are far too young to tap . . .

    Ludicrous price and ideas

Sounds like Richard is back in town running the same scam he did 7-8 years ago in Nana.

Made off with millions of dumb investment money and vitually disappeared over night.

Nearly word for word and how he created his sting.

For anyone seriously thinking about making an investment I will gladly take the money off your hands now and for no extra charge. PM me for my bank details!

Forget about the restaurant, house, "open" land etc. Producing rubber with trees at 8-10 year range in real rubber country (south with lots of rain) go for about 150,000 per rai. Unimproved raw rubber plantations.

Actually lots and lots of rain during the no cutting season is great. However, during the harvest time small amounts is good. One reason why the southern (eastern) areas do so well in terms of quality and quantity of latex. The monsoonal seasons are almost a perfect environment or so I am told by the family who have been doing it for donkey's years... Me, I'm no rubber dude. lol

If those are rubber trees in the foreground you got about 7-8 yrs minimum prior to production. They look like plantings and will need to be reduced by at least a factor of two to allow growth.

What gets me is this is near $2.7 million Oz dollars and just 30 acres.

For that price you can buy very nice farms making a quid in Oz in good areas with good services nearby, not some third world services in a shit hole and not 'hobby' farm size, but hundreds to thousands of acres.

My point is that the firm supporting these types of sales is as crokked as the turkeys selling them....in cahoots so to speak.

This is not the first, not even the 51st such outrageous such sale from this company....they seem to be like the Patpong and Sukhumvit touts, take advantage of the sucker as much and as quickly as possible before they wise up.

All is fair in love and war as they say, so if they get away with it....think karma slim.

OI OI OI, up your nose with a rubber hose, primate-man. This is my area of expertise and I'll not have you spouting your uneducated nonsense here.
