OH yea here is a cut of the FUN times had, if you can remember it, seems that Black out pass out drinkers just seem to have a problem but are the last to admit it when it is full knowledge to their mates.
here from pg 97 of the what mocy do you own thread, fact the whole thread will give some evidence to your active but denied alcoholism.
Yeh the weekend was great and we had a nice BBQ at my place in Khon kaen then we all piled into the back of a pick up and went out on the town,
dont remember to much after that till the morning where we rode to lucys bar and had few beers and a good feed and then headed over to the work shop for a few more beers and lamb chop BBQ later that night. So no much riding this weekend but we still managed to have a lot of fun
Yeh I was sick the next morning and had to drink atleast 4 hinys before I started to feel better
please dont confront rigger's denial in this thread he has already said too much.
BG, why do you keep bringing us down with your alkie stories again and again?
Yours are depressing.
CMN can you tell us one of your entertaining and funny stories about being an alcoholic please, to bring some balance here

Yes, you are right, and it is for no one else to declare him an alcoholic but it is up to him, but it is nice for one to see that and to do something about it before it kills you or wastes more of your life, to say nothing of the financial resources and hurt to your family.
SBF, those were not my stories, but Riggers, of which I have a lot that are similar.Originally Posted by slimboyfat

odd and a twitchy phrasal twist is all it is.
is this a spat?
no. a very narrow disagreement between drunks.
Yes I do drink Bg and so does most people on this forum. just because someone drinks doesnt mean they have a problem. I think you will find TD is not real life and dont beleive everything that is posted. I drink friday and sat normaly and dont black out or start fights and dont become a fok head.Originally Posted by blackgang
I would think the reason you stop drink was that you started to hurt yourself or your family and couldnt control yourself I on the other hand I do none of that
^ cool. then it should be no problem saying no more on the matter.

I do not consider alcohol addictive as is Heroin and certain drugs. Drinking is compulsive behavior to my way or thinking.Originally Posted by obsidian

temperament is the innate aspect of an individual's personality, such as introversion or extroversion.
Temperament is defined as that part of the personality which is genetically based. Along with character, and those aspects acquired through learning, the two together are said to constitute personality.
Historically the concept was part of the theory of the humours, which had corresponding temperaments. It played an important part in premodern psychology, and was important to philosophers like Immanuel Kant and Hermann Lotze.
More recently, with the emphasis on the biological basis of personality, the relationship between temperament and character has been examined with renewed interest.
Thank you for restating your wholly unsupported opinion.Originally Posted by blackgang
So you have a really bad drinking problem problem like Immanuel Kant and Hermann Lotze did?
Lazy asshole.
I truly find this hard to believe after reading of your escapades for the last few years and do not believe that they are all fiction of your imigination, but do seem to me to be real life experiences as have been lived by myself and others and most of your topics that are not on the build and repair of Motorcycles is about drinking, drunking and hangovers.Originally Posted by Rigger
Any time a man drinks and stays drunk for even a day it does hurt his family and usually after awhile it does not stop at a day but goes for longer times and at shorter intervals between drunks.= I would think the reason you stop drink was that you started to hurt yourself or your family and couldnt control yourself I on the other hand I do none of that
That in turn hurts himself and his family.
Health is a factor to be considered and the children watching this and believeing that is a fact of life and that they should drink too and start at an early age.
But this is you and not me is the topic of our conversation, I have had a lot of fun and good times while sober, and have been to a lot of runs that had from 2 to 4 thousand bikers in attendance and lasted for 3 or 4 days and no one drunk and no fights, those that have visited my house have seen some of my albums and can verify that what I say is true, so the idea that you have that just because I or we that do not drink have a dreary life of confinement is very wrong.

This is quite interesting.
yes, thanks.

Yes it is interesting and does explain a subject that cannot be explained.
and it does seem to me the more that anyone denies it the more apt he is to be the one.
All these things and also the first 160 pages of the Book Alcoholics Anonymous do fit my first 48 years to a perfect T.
My name is not CMN, but I broke my ankle whilst drunk on New Years Eve 2002, got 3 months off work full payOriginally Posted by slimboyfat
