A few friends have told me I've been looking rather haggard of late and I had noticed a couple of red blemishes on my face from burst blood capillaries due to drinking like a hetrosexual masculine man the past three weeks.

Anyway, somebody suggested I go for a facial as there is a place right on my doorstep that Sandra once visited and it is only 250thb, so I did.

First they put liquid latex type stuff on my hooter and around it - this is where most of the blackheads accumulate (apparently - I don't know this sort of stuff off by heart like a poof does) - then she does a massage and applies moisturizer and stuff and the blemishes she gets with some kind of tool that hurts but only a little bit, in fact it didn't hurt at all really but it probably does to a girl.

I can feel blood running down from my lower eye and she carefully mops this up with tissue and gives me another massage - even doing the shoulders a bit which I guess is beyond the call of duty for a facialist.

A little later on in the process she puts cucumber slices on my face and I get a call from a TD moderator I have not spoken to in ages and have to hang up because I can't speak so then I am waiting for it all to finish so I can return the call and explain that I didn't hang up because I didn't want to speak to him but because I had a sheet of cucumber on my boat race.

Quick final massage, powder and spray and I'm done.

I was so impressed with the result that I gave the girl a 20 baht tip - my face feels like a remote control does when you peel off the protective plastic film after you've had it four years already and I look several years younger!

There's nothing wrong with taking care of yourself. My 'metrosexual' days have just started, okay I may have a long way to go before I'm Blake 7 but a start is a start and this was a fresh start not easily beaten.
