I've seen two shocking sights in the past week, both of which make me wonder if there is anything that can be done

Firstly, one evening when driving into bangkok on bang na trad, I saw a convoy of four trucks carrying pigs into the city, presumably to be on dinner tables the next day. Thing is, the pigs were piled 3-4 deep on top of each other in the truck, crushing the pigs at the bottom, some of which were sticking their snouts through the railings at the side of the truck gasping for air. God knows what was happening to those at the bottom and not at the edge. A very horrible, callous sight.

Secondly, earlier today opposite the barbican in soi thaniya, in an alley next to japenese bars, three thai thugs were baiting soi dogs. Their bait was an almost hairless cat. The thugs were holding it towards a couple of soi dogs and the dogs were attacking it, trying to bite its front legs as it screamed and manically clawed at them. They did this repeatedly for several minutes, the cat being thrown from person to person for all to enjoy the fun. The cat was then placed inside a wooden hut thing presumably saved for later "fun". Fucking soi monkies.
