I was really disappointed in seeing the Sphinx.
I expected it to be much bigger.
It is usually photographed with the pyramid behind it, with the perspective giving the impression that it is larger than it really is.

Its about 20 metres, the Great Pyramid by comparison is about 150 metres.

Too many photos show it like this. Obviously the pyramid is bigger as its bedinfd the Sphinx, but I didn't think expect it to be less than 15% as tall.
