    Boycott the US

Obviously, the US has a hegemony over many things but Canada and much of the EU have already started boycotting until the fascists get evicted (if they've not completely destroyed democracy by then).

‘I feel utter anger’: From Canada to Europe, a movement to boycott US goods is spreading | Trump administration | The Guardian

Fuck Trump. Fuck Musk. Fuck Nazis.

American taxpayers are entitled to be very angry at decades of Canadian and EU taxpayers free-riding on US military expenditures. Why are Europeans so keen on war? They seem to be addicted to killing each other. Europeans also have a deeply shameful history of exploiting outsiders. They need to look at themselves. The devil is in the mirror.

I'll be celebrating when Putin is assassinated but I'm concerned who might replace him.

It is impossible to do, of course, but you can limit yourself.

World Cup next year in the US, Canada and Mexico.

I've been saving my TEFL wage for years and I've now got 14 pounds!

Not a chance I'll be spending any of that money in that authoritarian right-wing hellhole though.

    Mexico all the way.

You may have mentioned before that I am a non driver , but I find it hilarious to see Musk crying about the meltdown of his company cos "all we do is make cars."

Yeah, fella, that's not the point.

It's because you are a priviliged white South African making Nazi salutes, interfering in European politics with your wishes for far-right parties to be installled, stripping people's jobs away, supporting Russia, insulting supposed allies and being a divisive, hate-filled twat.

Good luck selling a car in Europe ever again.

Oh dear maybe you could remind us how America, the worlds benefactor, manage to peacefully expand from 13 states to 50 and how they "acquired" Hawaii. Or maybe how U.S. military exports went from 157B USD to over 200B USD from 2023 to 2024 to Europe and others. A nice little earner aided by the Ukraine war.

The anti-US movement has cascaded from Canada to Europe, but it's been especially acerbic in Britain.

Being locked in to buy American hardware which because of the DMCA being baked into the trade agreements does not allow you do reverse engineer anything and do your own maintenance at lower cost.

Hopefully most countries will do away with the MBa designed monopolies on interaction with USA hardware and software across the board.

When you buy something you should be allowed to do with it as you wish .

Facebook and Twitter will be in for a shock

As to Hal's call to Boycott I hope he can show us on the doll what that burly Georgia gal did to him?

Despite Sri Racha Encona and many more I have yet to find anything better in a Bloody Mary than Avery Island's finest Mclllhnney's Tabasco sauces have 4 bottle in reserve for when the next unpleasantness occurs

I suspect that might not be a good idea and we should let hal do his thing with the doll in the privacy of his own room

Certainly not my idea but one I can get behind at the moment with the antics of their current leadership. It's impossible to do in its entirety, of course, but there are plenty of other places to spend your money in/other things to spend your money on.

There's a group out there vandalising Tesla cars so it stops people buying them but the attacks have been hushed up.

A similar thing happened to bmw owners in the late Eighties.
That was called " fvck the rich"

Anyhow I've decided never to buy Budweiser ever again!!
