    Do you have a pet?

    In my animal-friendly town of Blackpool, where I currently reside for a few more days, the locals love to keep seagulls as pets.

    NOT! Lancashire police investigate after man seen pulling seagull with lead | UK | News | Express.co.uk

    How about you? Do you have an unusual pet? I used to have a pet sex doll, which was great because they always did what I wanted, didn't need any food, never made a noise etc. Almost as good as the pet rock that I had as a kid.

    Groping women when you're old is fine - everyone thinks you're senile

    @Simon - I'm sure that you'll be chuffed to be back in SA Asia. Glad that your medical proceedings went well.

    ++++
    I don't have a pet at my apartment (no pets allowed). At my mom's house, we have 1 dog (street dog hybrid - a bit hairier than the usual soi dogs) and 1 pet black hen that we call Blackie. Blackie had a sister, which we called Whitie. Whitie died in 2021, so Blackie is now alone. Blackie is a free range chicken.

    Years ago, we also had a dog named Brownie and a cat named Yellow cat. Naming dogs/ pets after colors is normal in PH - we don't consider it as racist. Heck, we even have an island named Negros - it's divided into 2 provinces: Negros Oriental & Negros Occidental.

    " Lancashire police investigate after man seen pulling seagull with lead"
    IMO , its a bit of a stretch to leap from " Lancashire police investigate after man seen pulling seagull with lead " which seems to suggest that the incident was rare enough that the police had to investigate. Something that would not had happen if "the locals love to keep seagulls as pets "
    Nonetheless , a good way to start a thread about unusual pets.
    Unfortunately my tastes lean towards the mundane. Five dogs and a cat , all females LOL
    But your sex doll idea sounds interesting and if filled with helium it would make it convenient to carry around with a lead.And if the police decided to investigate,all you need to do is cut the string , and your problem floats away.
    The sooner you fall behind, the more time you have to catch up.
