Grim life and mystery death of Lolo Ferrari - from prostitution to exploding 54K boobs


Eurotrash star Lolo Ferrari made it into the Guinness Book of World Records with her 54K boobs - and was tragically found dead in uneasy circumstances.

Lolo Ferrari had the biggest boobs in the world - and was not shy of showing off her incredible assets.


The former glamour model, who was the stand out star of Channel 4's late night cult show Eurotrash in the 90s, had a striking appearance that would not be forgotten quickly.


At the height of her fame, Lolo claimed a place in the Guinness Book of World Records for her enormous 54K boobs.


But the massive increase in her breast size came at a price and her life started to crumble around her.


After years of suffering, Lolo's life came to a very tragic end, with her shock death shrouded in mystery.


The French reality TV star, whose real name was Eve Valois, had an agonisingly unhappy childhood and once revealed her mother branded her "ugly and stupid".

"She told me I was revolting too, that no one would ever want me," she heartbreakingly explained.



"She hit me sometimes with a riding crop. I was frightened and I was ashamed; I wanted to change my face, my body, to transform myself. I wanted to die, really."
After leaving school she began a modelling career and met her future husband, Eric Vigne, when she was just 17 and he was 39-years-old.


A former drug dealer who had just been released from prison, Eric became her manager and they were married within two years.
It was Eric who encouraged Lolo to start changing her body with plastic surgeyr and he became the 'architect' of her transformation.

Over five years, she had a series of operations that altered her face and figure forever, with her implants being designed by an engineer that worked on Boeing 747s.


By the time she had reached 33-years-old, she had undergone breast augmentation surgery a staggering 22 times.


Her boobs went from 37D to a gigantic 54K, each weighing 6lbs 2oz and containing three litres of surgical serum each.


Speaking about her ballooning assets, Lolo said that her breasts represented maternity and childhood innocence and was pleased with the changes to her body.

"It makes me more sure of myself. I'm like a transvestite - I've created a femininity that's completely artificial.


"But I'd like to have even bigger breasts. I can't because there are medical problems - you can't stretch the skin any more."


However, she didn't stop there, as Lolo also had 25 operations on her lips, forehead, nose, eyebrows, cheeks and stomach in just five years.


But there were obviously downsides, with Lolo scared to travel by plane through fear that he boobs would explode due to the pressure.


Lolo also became completely estranged from her family, who she claims told her to reduce her boob size, take off her rings and cut down her heels every time they saw her.

She once stripped to a bright pink bikini that struggled to stretch across her huge assets as two men proceeded to use a tickling device to itch her back.


Lolo wanted to be a singer and recorded four singles in total, but failed to have any success in the music business.


But she did have a popular cabaret and striptease act that drew audiences of tens of thousands in nightclubs across Europe.


Lolo spoke about her sad struggles, admitting she felt disconnected from reality at times and had the operations "because I can't stand life".


The model had reportedly been suffering from depression in her later years after the public became tired of what she had to offer.


She even began living in fear of crazed fans trying to puncture her breasts.

Having slept downstairs because his wife was feeling unwell, Eric came upstairs to their bedroom in the morning to find her body was stone cold.


The initial autopsy determined that she had died of an overdose, due to the star suffering from depression and being found with antidepressants and tranquillisers in her system.


Lolo's parents were not convinced and pushed for a second autopsy, which was approved two years later and found that death from a 'mechanically-induced suffocation' could not be ruled out.


Widower Eric was subsequently arrested for murder after being suspected of causing her death and went on to spend 13 months in prison.

A second medical analysis of Lolo's body took place which cleared her husband of all charges, leading to his release in 2007.



The model's actual cause of death still remains a mystery, 20 years after her passing.


Meanwhile, her memory lives on in the many clips of Eurotrash that are still being shown.


The programme's bosses decided to honour the former star with an obituary and a special documentary about her life on Channel 4.
