So there is some truth to the old adage 'You are what you eat.'
I generally eat healthy food. I eat a limited amount of fried food and generally avoid fatty foods. I also try to balance out the carb/protein/fat thing to suit my needs. I regularly eat fruit, vegetables and nuts. I drink a lot of milk and coconut juice/water.
I make my own Chicha Morada when I can get the purple corn. Supposed to be very good for you, although sometimes I'm naughty and slip white rum into it.

At least 1 ltr coconut water daily, partial to almonds and pistachio, anything on toast, prefer lamb over other meats, an occasional junk meal but otherwise generally well tended.
I cook all of my meals myself, use the best ingredients and don't eat manufactured food. I eat plenty of fish and vegetables, and take vitamins and supplements. I have High blood pressure and cholesterol that I control with medication.In walk 2 miles every day

I had a T bone and chips for dinner tonight followed by a Kamagra jelly for desert.
My diet is pretty much the same each day: unsweetened green tea, muesli, kefir milk, fruit, veggie, nuts, eggs, wheatgerm bread, salad, plus 7 Km fast walk to the shops and back (7 Km 'cos' the short-cut bamboo bridges across the river were washed away by the monsoon rains - happens every year - I use my motorbike to go shopping only if I'm in a hurry).

I do my weekly shopping early on Saturday morning and make up the week's recipes as I go around. I occasionally pick a different shop or pop to the market for seasonal delights.
Mrs Troy has a habit of changing recipes as we walk between the aisles, which often results in some food items being put back on the shelves. Fresh meat and veg stays in the trolley, obviously, and I have to conjure up some side dishes.
