Bang Saray is a nice place.

As Thai beach resorts go, Bang Saray has to be one of the most boring places you could ever visit in Thailand.

Why someone would travel there from Bangkok is bewildering. You may as well save yourself nearly an hour's drive and stop in one of the equally mundane towns of Bang Saen or that other shit tip Koh Sichang.

Passing Pattaya and Koh Lan to stay in Bang Saray is the equivalent of doing a road trip driving past Koh Samet to spend a night in Chantaburi.

The electric toilet looks nice though

They're advertising places in Jomtien as 'The Maldives' too.

I know theres places in Na Jomtiem that are near that range. ie..The ones close to that poncey Ibiza chillout beach place

I suspect the actual price of the places YD is talking about is closer to that than to 10K.

I think I've found these 'Maldive' bungalows in Bang Saray. They go for 4.5k a night

They used to have something similar in Hua Hin.

Think they all fell into the sea in the end, with the wood and corrugated iron being thrown back onto the beach by the waves and providing an entertaining 'three day event' course for the donkeys.

I know that after paying school fees at Lafayette State University has left you broke, there is no reason to make up hotel prices. No worries, i didn't stay there, but the prices at the villas adults are talking about here are actually higher than I was informed. Maybe it was a covid special?
