It's getting lighter earlier in the mornings, pretty soon it'll catch up with the time I get up. Which is nice.

Loving the weak baht. 36.13 to USD dollar today.
My salary went up recently... hate to brag, but damn.... I got backpay from the collective bargaining that is two years behind, plus I am being paid on salary with my new job and not as a supply teacher. Finally after a lot of hard work to get my foot in the door after being overseas so long!
^ Retirement planning and Savings. Don't leave it too late.
And get real about your absurd claims to being a 'world traveller'. :D
Cheer for the day: MM's flounce-and-returns are getting shorter. :)
So much so that they go unnoticed. :D
Might be early this year, can already see the buds starting to swell.
Been a wet winter too so hopefully no belly aching water companies with hose pipe bans and a few more chalk streams should be back until the water companies suck then dry again. Oh well.
I wish all the orange, clawed, spider eyed trolls who have discovered lycra leggings and tops when you already have a BMI of 70 confined their days out from being sat in front of the TV waiting for their next deliveroo order to those two weeks.
I've stayed off the beer so far this weekend after, um, falling off the wagon (because of Willy :)) the last two.
I never have a battlecruise during the week anyway, but how nice it is at the weekend to wake up fresh, put the coffee filter on (Lavazza, obviously) and sit down with a bacon and egg butty while watching a repeat of yesterday's Saturday Kitchen on one side and Match of the Day on the other?
That first ale later will taste all the better for it. :)
For you, Hal.
picked up a couple of bottles I don’t see here often yesterday.

This is the Daily Cheer thread, you cnut!
:)
Tis daily cheer!
Waking up completely fresh and ready to go at whatever is glorious everyday. Especially in SEA where the norm is up at 6:30 to blue skies, palm trees and birdsong. Since changing to herbal tea in the evening, the fresh lovely early morning has become one of me favourite parts of the day.
:)
Shall do, sir.
^ Did he send you a dick pic via pm, too?
Our daily cheer - yesterday.
MrsP had a call last evening to say she'd won 4th prize in a school raffle, there's an LG 50" TV headed our way.
It can replace the 43" which can replace the 32" which can be given away.
There was a hopeful effort from daughters suggesting they could clear wall space in their room for the new one.
Nice try. It already looks like an overcrowded refugee camp in there, and a tv not conducive to uni studies,
Raffles #2.
January she 'won' a new Honda Wave 125 on behalf of the business at an event they sponsored, but didn't get to keep it as tickets were bought on behalf of company owners; instead it's going into the pool of lucky number prizes for staff at Songkran.
I expect we'll get yet another Hatari fan.
Well at least Eng gave me most of my weekend back, it's the hope that kills you. :)
Never fear, there is still the six nation match to look forward to!
:doglol:
I'm on March Break a one week holiday! Feel so great and relaxed. Heading to a spa in a few days for a relax and massage.
Also, happy to have finally opened up an RRSP and some investing for my future.
^Nice.
I got a last minute dentist appointment today and some antibiotics for my toothache, it's been a long painful weekend but there's light at the end of the tunnel on the pain front.
^I hope you feel better, Joe and that the dentist helped!! <3
They would have you believe…
^cool that you feel a bit better. I’m at the dentist right now waiting. My benefits finally kicked in. I have to work at least 60 days on salary to get it. I may only have 3 weeks to use it if my job doesn’t continue after March.
Benefits? Doesn’t Canada have universal health care?
^Not for dental, and people still pay for things like prescriptions, massages, etc. Dental care is extremely expensive here if you don’t have it covered or most of it covered you pay a fortune.
