Well I am nowhere near American enough to sit through near five hours of that pap. Hopefully a considerably abridged highlights reel will come out in due course.

But frankly Trump himself in his statements, tweets and general deportment is such an unwitting comedic masterpiece, perhaps he should have hosted the damn thing himself. I'm not surprised it was a fizzer, at all. Just too bloody obvious.

Well, having now watched Michelle Wolf's 'comedy segment', not impressed. Just not funny, and came across as mean spirited and petty.
You don't successfully take the piss out of someone by copying their lowest attributes. Well wide of the mark- suggest she consider a career change.
Of course, meanwhile The Donald was telling the faithful in some rust belt "They hate you", referring to media & Dem's. Mussolini talk- easy pisstake.

I only watched a 'highlight' reel. Couple of giggles in there but not much. Not sure I could've sat through the whole thing because Wolf's voice is like fingernails on a chalkboard to me.

I don't remember the year but Obama's routine was probably a highlight for me.

But the whole concept is a little odd and dated and should probably be shelved anyways.

The Obama slaughter of Trump was a classic and marked the high-water mark for that event. I still watch it to restore my belief that there may be intelligent life in the US of A.

Actually, I watched her act and have to say it was ballsy, dangerous and occasionally very funny indeed. Pricking the balloon of pomposity with a serrated stiletto splashing blood over everyone is no bad thing from time to time and she had the guts to do it. I admired her for her courage and clearly indomitable spirit in ploughing on when she saw the collateral damage paining those who thought they were safe.
The Establishment needs a kick in the balls and that woman was damn good at sticking it to them. The stuffed shirts don't like to be reminded they too take a shit sitting down and it stinks like everyone else's - she was just rubbing their noses in it.
