Thumbs up 2018/2019 Ford Bronco - USA

Such a great decision Ford made by rolling the Bronco back out. Ive had a few 87-93 when I was younger. Excellent trucks. Still in the planning/speculation stage though.

It’s really unfortunate that Ford didn’t produce the Bronco for a number of years. Because there was a definite Land Rover Defender vibe to it, especially the first generation back in 1966. The collector market is picking off the original Bronco left and right, and the recent boom in SUV’s and 4×4’s in the US has created an interesting concoction, and just the right conditions for the Bronco to make its return. The Ford Bronco 2018 is coming.

Whatever the reasons for its departure, the Ford Bronco is coming back to markets with full expectations. Speculation of a hardtop convertible, diesel and a four door model have all been taken into consideration. The Bronco will be a great addition to Ford’s long lineup of vehicles, and most likely pull its weight in sales. So, anticipating the 2018 Ford Bronco, let’s see what we know so

I know a lot of you have seen these renderings of the Bronco, but my oh my is it sharp. The new Bronco, if it looks like this does, will truly give Jeep some issues. The Wrangler hasn’t really had serious competition, and truly dominated the masses who looked for a pure 4×4. I said “dominated” because I really believe the Bronco will make a strong case for itself. I think it would be even cooler with some more aggressively flared wheel arches, maybe on a more hardcore trim level. There are so many possibilities for this thing that it’s insane.

You can see a lot of the original Bronco in this rendition, and staying true to that bloodline will be very important for this new one. If Ford does take that route, we’ll be looking at a truly great off-roader.

I just really hope they don’t water the final product down like they did with the 2017 GT. I’m sorry, but you all know that the Ford GT would be so much cooler with a supercharged or TT V8 instead of a TT V6. I’ll make my case for that later (I made a video about it here: 2017 FORD GT: A FLOP?).

The interior of the 2018 Ford Bronco is largely speculation as of now. But, we can expect to see something akin to the ranger, F-150 and others in the lineup. Above what you see is essentially a Raptor with a tesla screen, but something similar will be in the Bronco. We’ve seen Ford’s technology get very good in the last couple years, and that will most definitely be present in the 2018 Bronco.

I anticipate that either Ford will go the luxury route and put a decent amount of leather and other goodies on the inside, or they will take the route of the Wrangler and other stripped-down 4×4’s. Giving the bare necessities on the inside of a 4×4 has its own special charm to it, so it is fair to assume that is the route Ford will take on the Bronco. Possibly some trim levels will feature more upscale touches for the driver and passengers, but anything extreme (Ford Bronco Maybach anyone? I’m kidding, don’t worry.) is unlikely. But I’m sure design houses and West Coast Customs will have their way with the Bronco when it is released.

Expect the 2018 Bronco to seat 5 comfortably in either a two or four door configuration. Whatever it ends up looking like, I’m sure it’ll be loads of fun to drive.

Here is the list of product that will help you clean your car’s interior.

This is a bit of a grey area as of right now. But let’s go ahead and assume that they do end up using the speculative 5.0L V8 in one of the trims. Then we’ll be looking at somewhere around 435 HP and around 400 Lb-Ft of torque. As for lower trim levels, we might be looking at a three liter or three and a half liter V6, or some type of forced induction four cylinder. Ford has not released any official information, but since they love to push their Eco-Boost technology in their products, expect some sort of turbocharging in the Bronco.

The 2018 Ford Bronco will have a lot to live up to, and that’s okay. We should all expect a lot out of this 4×4. A release date should be set as we get more information regarding the Bronco, but it might be late 2018 or early 2019 . Ford is taking their sweet time on the Bronco and the 4×4 world is holding its breath.

I want to be excited now, but it’s just wrong. There’s still quite a ways to go before we see customers picking up their Bronco’s, but I’m sure it’ll be a great day in Ford history when they do. It is understandable that Ford is focusing their energy on the new GT that has also been hyped up for years, and when that dissipates, we will hear more news about the new Bronco. I would love to see one honestly, and see how it drives on roads and through mud. If I can get my hands on a Bronco to test when they come out, I’ll let you know if they’re the real deal.

I was thinking it would be great for driving on the beach and pulling a boat/car carrier.

I probably should have considered the demographics of this forum before posting such a fun looking Ford

it looks decent enough, but is hampered somewhat by its default american macho look.

in europe, anybody driving one of those things, or just about any other american car, would be considered a poser, a boulevardier, a young rake or a menopausal man lacking in taste or sophistication.

the original broncos, and also the later iterations that were produced into the 90's and retained much of the purity of the original were a much better and cohesive "form following function" design, and like the original land, range rovers and jeeps are timeless.

the new one will look passe in 5 years, just like the second and third gen range rovers do now.

there is an art in designing successful retro cars that few have succeeded in, fiats modern take on the 500 and the original "new" mini of about 10 years ago are about the only ones i can think of that have pulled it off successfully.

If the photo's are anything to go by, I'd say it's designed for modestly endowed men of a certain age group, who suffer from erectile dysfunction- but can't afford a Hummer.
