    Ebay is dumb as fcuk

Twats - all sanctions against Myanmar were lifted by Obama in 2016.

Yes, I can use a VPN to bypass this IP block. But Ebay won't allow shipments to 'Burma'.

LoL - it says contact Customer Support if I think that I've received this message in error. Hey dickheads!! How the fcuk do I contact Customer Support when you block my sign-in??

Bunch of arsewipes. I was going to purchase a load of cheap mp3 players to load up with English audio conversation practice and give to the kids at the orphanage where I teach.

Does Pantip Plaza sell mp3 players like this:

USB Mini Digital MP3 Music Player LCD Screen Metal Support 32GB Micro SD Card | eBay
Groping women when you're old is fine - everyone thinks you're senile

Can't you get a VPN there? I'm having problems with setting up a new one in Saudi at the mo-mo, but that's another animal.

    What about Amazon?

Amazon won't deliver to Myanmar and nor will Ebay (so a VPN doesn't really help). Paypal allows account access from Myanmar but doesn't allow use of Visa cards issued in Myanmar to pay invoices, and you can't yet link to a Myanmar bank account.

I use my Thai Paypal account for most online transactions, but Ebay's sanctions message just shows how out of touch they are. (I emailed them last year about this but they never replied).

eBay is run by complete fucking idiots, constant errors on the U.S. site all the time right here in the states. I guess Google and Amazon got all the good engineers. It is time someone knock them out and something better takes its place.

How many of them did you want? I’ll order them for you and ship them from Thailand to you. PM me your shipping details.

Thanks, but I'll be in BKK next month for a few days. If Pantip sells something similar, then I'll buy 20 or so and bring them back to Myanmar.

If you torture data for enough time , you can get it to say what you want.

    just pay with credit card

I had no issue getting items shipped to thailand - china post - little bit slower but no attention from customs and no postal charges
That doesn't help - I live in Myanmar. I will only be in Thailand for 3 days - hence the preference to buy in person from Pantip.

Yes, they have a mail service. I am still waiting for 5 items (letters and small parcels) that have been posted from the UK, Thailand etc.

All have been 'lost' in the Myanmar inbound postal system

Anything of interest will not make it to me....

There are many Ebay sellers who won't ship to Thailand. Surely it is the sellers discretion not Ebay as a hole.

When I lived in Thailand, I generally had success with receiving items purchased on Ebay.

Now I'm in Myanmar, I usually try to purchase in-store when I visit BKK, or get the item sent to my ex-aunt's house in BKK where my son lives.

I do have a load of kit stored in Phuket, but I don't have any plans to go there.
