I know Sunbelt Asia have the franchise on quite a few subways in Thailand and they are also a major sponsor of TV, i also have heard unconfirmed rumours they own a % of TV.
Dare to suggest that Sunbelt Asia is less than perfect and your thread/post will be closed immediately.
It's an informative site at times with some excellent posters but between the over zealous, righteous moderation.. and the sickly little cliques that exist (particularly in bedlam) it really is too much.
As a new poster here it really is a breath of fresh air to write, for example: Bollocks.. and not have some PC software insert a bunch of exclamation marks.

You know, a few weeks ago, I started a thread over there about prices going up in Bangkok, and cited stickman was the one making the argument. It was a quite sucessful thread. I also posted a link to stickman's site. A Mod came in and zapped that link within minutes.

Now, I don't know stickman, and wasn't trying to plug him or anything, but I'm not sure why that was zapped.

    * he did send me a PM thanking me though. Maybe he'll give me some free advice on where to meet babes in Thailand.

Thats why they aint allowed to post news stories in full, cos they thought they didn't need to credit the source, don't know how much it costs say the Bangkok post to put a newspaper story together, but if your gonna nick it the least you can do is give credit to the people that wrote it, it is there's and if they want they can just say FU don't publish our stuff on your site anymore, but george thinks he is special and don't need to credit no one with the stuff they do.

^The point was that they've put my domain on their filter list, so if you try to post a link to one of my pages, something like Yahoo! gets substituted instead.

Thaivisa is obviously not an insurance company.
Therefore they must be acting as a middle-man.
They will get paid a comission.
Therefore it will be more expensive than just going straight to the insurance company yourself.
I see the sycophants are already queue-ing to line George's pockets.
Gotta admit, George is a good businessman.

    That is not necessarily true.

But cconsidering they have had trouble with the TV shop, the TV bar, the TV debit card and the TV t shirts I would be wary of dealing with them myself.

Don't forget TV chat which was run by that A-hole Buckwheat which is now closed due to it being a resounding success, or the new TV travel which seeing as that prick Baz is involved will no doubt go the same way.

I got a free shirt too, it's actually quite a good quality, just a shame about the logo on it, i mean who the fcuk is going to go walking round pattaya wearing a shirt that says Thaivisa with there logo on it?

Think i'll stick to my singha vest.

I thought the best idea he had was to start charging new sign ups to join the forum, shame he dropped that idea.

Looks like the Thaivisa football team sponsored by Sunbelt has gone tits up.
Seems like all the players signed up with other teams.
Wonder what all that is about?

Update: Seems like Sunbelt pulled the sponsorship.
