I am coming to Thailand with the wife to visit family etc in March for 28 days. I am looking to hire a vehicle. I expect the expats will have the knowledge and best advice to help me.
I have used Thairentacar in the past but straight from the website they are stating all vehicles booked but on an alternative site they do seem available.

Can anyone recommend a trusted vehicle rental company please.

Is it better to rent from Bangkok airport? Downtown? Or fly to Khon Kaen and hire from there.

Any guidance will be much appreciated.
