I used to post on this forum when the late DD started it as a anti Thai Visa/Ajarn forum in rebellion against conventional logic and rationality. He has amusing in small doses and a sometimes trolled TV regarding its convicted paedophile executive(s)I remember him having very homophobic, sexist, racist English working class archetype personality. Being in early middle ages and left leaning in my politics I see deeply homophobic people especially those who live in a country like Thailand where a good 3rd of the population get a bit gay when they're young. My theory was once proven to me in my early twenties when this deeply hating sex tourist got drunk and tried to boff me... In his case I think he picked it up in the jail..But that's a another story. I have friends from the UK and SE Asia it really doesn't bother me...
