    The Nazcar Lines

The Nazcar Lines are in Peru.

Having gauged the popularity of conspiracy theories here on TD I shall keep my own opinion as to what these amazing forms are or were used for to myself. Science hasn't - to my knowledge - managed to figure it out, either. If anybody hasn't had a look at them I suggest you do as it is quite interesting.

Peruvians are aliens, they even had electric over 2,000 years ago, they used zinc and lime in big pots to create it.

I watched 1/2 an hour of the latest Herbie movie last night. This is the one where Herbie enter a Nazcar race and of course wins. Amazing for an old volkswagon.

Herbie was driven by Lindsey Lohan and I noted that she appeared to be sober in all of the scenes.

    Peru's got some amazing sights.
Macchu Pichu can be explained by sheer human effort, but just above Cuzco there is this Incan fort called Sachsyhuaman [?]. The base stones are massive- some up to 18 ft high or more, and you can't even stick a knife into the gaps between them. Archeologists can't work out how they got them there- Incans did not have the wheel.

I went there in the early 80's, very amazing place in the desert. It was very interesting to see the line from the small plane we hired on morning. But the big fiesta we made the night before in the village party was even more funny. A lot of beer, pisco saur and dancing. The hangover the next morning was also unforgettable. One women selling some food in the street was such impressed by my white skin (pella blanca) that she come to touch my forearms.

The other thing about Peru is that the natives, along with the Moroccans, share the dubious distinction of being the worlds best thieves.

An Argentinian stoner told me one of those pictures was a peyotl cactus. Guess he must have been wrong. Seemed like a good story at the time though.
