White widow isn't a great choice of strain for someone that doesn't smoke often. Avoid blueberry and any of the skunks as well.

Not to teach you to suck eggs but its better to take fewer tokes and give it time to wait and see what it does to you. Keep eating and drinking to keep blood sugar up. Get out for fresh air now and again.

Amsterdam is a horrible place to be if you whitey.

It all seems a bit technical these days.
Back in the day it was heads or leaf, seedless or not. That was about it.

    ^^^good advice

Maybe it was because i started on this which is defunt now, i think

Gold Seal and Red Seal are street terms for certain types of "black" hashish, or cannabis resin found in the United Kingdom. Most "Black Hash" is either from Pakistan or Afghanistan, and is rarely identified by country of origin. It is distinguishable by its soft, oily texture, and its malleability - it can be squeezed and kneaded into different shapes, and even rolled into long "strings" which can be inserted into a joint without being heated.
More plentiful in the 80s and early 90s, before the huge shift toward Dutch skunk weed when it became available, the two Seals were a popular and affordable smoke at £13 (about $20) on average for an eighth of an ounce. Gold Seal (considered the stronger hash) came with a gold stamp of various designs on each nine ounce bar and Red Seal was wrapped in a dull red polythene.

So where does the Heavyweight in the name derive?

That's not true in Vancouver. There are more dispensaries than Starbucks, and pure strains are the norm.

What does "A racehorse between three" mean?

It is a bit technical now with all the different strains, but with the advent of legalisation/permitted medicinal use in some American states they have taken it to another level again.
Now there really is a connoisseurship to the type of weed, and the way it is prepared and consumed.
They can offer medical patients strains that will supposedly help with their particular ailment.
There are also tinctures and creams being made that really seem to be effective in dealing with anything from psoriasis to skin cancer - not kidding.

The new thing - i haven't tried this but would if i was somewhere it was permitted - is "dabbing". They extract the good bits and leave all the plant material behind to make a concentrate. Get a lump of it and put it on the "nail" of a "dab rig" and inhale the resulting vapour.
Loads about it on youtube. Have a look for BHO or butane hash oil. Seems to be the most hardcore means of taking it.

There are also all manner of edibles being sold and not just brownies and muffins. They have weed infused cheeses and coffee and can even pair wine with your weed.

The amount of money being made and the innovation is staggering. They have vending machines that you can go and buy packets of weed from in the state(s) where recreational use is allowed. There is a lot of band wagon jumping as well as these little sub tribes that identify themselves by the method they use or the way they grow or prepare their "medicine" - they pretty much all call it medicine now, it seems. You don't get high anymore, it's "medicating".

I find it all very interesting even if i can't partake in any of it. Unless I'm in Amsterdam or somewhere like that and I'm going to be on holiday for a while - i am subject to drug tests at work.

Fair enough. I have got some pure Sativa from Canada before, Super Lemon Haze it was. Very nice too

Can't believe I missed this thread... was my new year's resolution to quit smoking weed... been off and on it for 10 + years..

I have a love hate relationship with the green... it has it's pros and cons...

Awesome for stress relief/relaxation... makes my dreams very vivid and real...

    Amazing for sex..

Downside for me is it tends to dull me, and as you guys well know, I'm well dull already innit..
Takes the sharpness off an already pretty dull blade, if you will...

makes me feel a bit 'burnt out' and wasted the next day, nothing major, but definitely noticeable (unless you sleep an extra hour - to compensate).

Makes me crave food and while not quite so bad as craving cock (like some of you shifters) it's still not cool if you want a 6 pack (or any pack really)

^Well, not any pack like you stool packers... a flat tummy/stomach...

If they made weed that wouldn't make me wana eat the arse off a camel, or shag like there's no tomorrow, I'm there... until they do, I quit smoking that shit...
going back on the Meth... much more healthy.

National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA)

    Long-term effects

Marijuana also affects brain development. When marijuana users begin using as teenagers, the drug may reduce thinking, memory, and learning functions and affect how the brain builds connections between the areas necessary for these functions.

Marijuana’s effects on these abilities may last a long time or even be permanent.

Yes, I'm afraid it's pretty much confirmed since he mentions cock in at least 50% of his posts. Even one as far removed as this one.
Though I imagine as soon as someone mentioned smoking he immediately thought of smoking cock.

Mate, you're the one who bought the subject of cock into this manly discussion about the merits of weed.

I was brainwashed in the late sixties by school teachers sprouting U.S. Propagander , that Pot was a Soviet invention to get young men of military age to smoke weed, therefore making them incapable of fighting off the Communists.
    Weed = Communist takeover
History shows it worked, Comrade Dope

^That reminds me of that unintentionally hilarious propaganda film 'Reefer Madness'.

Ever seen it? Apparently smoking weed makes you promiscuous, homocidial and most chillingly of all play the piano really, really fast.

It's great to watch when you're high. You'll laugh your ass off.

Big 'dry spell' in NZ at the moment... until April... (or so my drug lord tells me)...

I just hate being dependent on any substance... although I prefer smoking dope over drinking alcohol any day...

    I'm a contradictory bastard I know...
