I have been doing 6 figures profits every months for the last 15 years, so your point is ?

Bitcoin would chew through that stop bi-weekly. That drop just happened most recently five days ago or something. Its an incredibly challenging investment to manage because its so damn volatile. Huge wild swings are par for the course. Your risk tolerance would be too low for bitcoin with that stop

You haven't made anything until you've sold. Have you cashed out that profit? Six figures is just six numbers on a sheet of paper until you do. Of course, FOMO

If you're in my guess is you're either already in front or soon will be, in which case set your stop at whatever you are comfortable to lose, or win. Otherwise saddle up.

This one is actually even worse because for whatever reason bitcoin is attracting people who have never invested anything in anything before.

The next phase of the bubble cycle normally consists of the conclusion, where all the smart money bails out with the price bottoming out, leaving the suckers high and dry.

The question is: Is bitcoin the same as other historical bubbles, or ....

I have no idea which of those things is true (ie the smart money bailing out or bitcoin continuing this unprecendented rise). I have an opinion about which is more likely though
I doubt your opinion and one doĺlar would get you a cup of coffee. (Except the senior deal at Mickey D's)

The only people calling this bitcoin thing a bubble are the central banksters, and useless government hacks, who do so to continue kleptocracy business as usual.

Watch some of the Andreas Antonopolos videos to understand what Bitcoin really is.
While some the tech behind it is a little complicated the very sound fundamemtal principles are kinda magical, like life itself.

If you don't consider life to be magical, then don't bother with trying to understand Bitcoin.

Millions 'stolen' in NiceHash Bitcoin heist - BBC News

"Highly professional" hackers made off with around 4,700 Bitcoin from a leading mining service, a Bitcoin exchange has said.
The value of Bitcoin is currently extremely volatile, but at the time of writing, the amount stolen was worth approximately $80m.
The hacked service was NiceHash, a Slovenia-based mining exchange.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride!"

So do the people who have their coins stored in these exchanges just lose all their money when these things happen? I can't imagine this shit has an FDIC equivalent....

see, the governments can send KGB or MI6 or CIA or NSA to steal all your precious bitcoins, even in your precious wallets and make them "void" by shutting down all exchanges for cash

    so much secure and independent

    Funny you say that.

Ol' matey that got in 2 days after me and immediately went into a dip.... ..... has kinda shat the gear and just said he's pulling his initial investment (180k baht) once it doubles.

Has around 500k baht in his safe and was too nervous to chuck it all in. The missus let him put 180k in.

Anyway, I'm going balls in. In the process of putting 1m baht in and sticking it in a cold wallet. Will plug it in and pull it out at either 10 mill baht or 700k. Whichever comes first.

    Come on Bitty-Baby.

I don't know but would guess the client agreement protects the exchange.

Billions in untraceable digimoney sitting around in hundreds of insecure servers, prime conditions for frauds both from the inside and out. Wouldn't surprise me if some exchanges were set up specifically with the intent to build up a nice stash of coins and deposits, then go bust or disappear overnight, happened before.

And considering the personal/financial details bx.in.th demanded for an account before I gave up and went the nephew route, they have more than enough for identity theft and other forms of fraud....which of course I'm sure they wouldn't abuse but others might.

Weigh everything (to date), and I reckon it's not bitcoins newbies should be afraid of but the exchanges.

Id have a lot more faith in Bitcoin if it was rising sensibly but this thru the stratosphere shite is gonna end in tears for quite a few punters.

I just bought some TenX, (the fast and dirty crypto) this one is predicted to moon rocket in 2018!

It has a number of the heavy crypto hitters behind it!

Seeing how I had some small BTC change sitting in Bittrex, and TenX was at low and BTC high. What the heck, do it!

Now I gotta figure out a TenX wallet
