^^^So you've only just got into this, but were advising people to hold @ $10k?. Why the hell would they listen to you??.

I just got into this myself, with BX Thailand, and was set-up ready to go in about 3 or 4 hours. Put enough money in to have a keen interest in things but not enough to change my lifestyle if it goes total bust. Like everyone else (except those who got in from day-1) I wish I'd have got in earlier, but having said that, in 3.50 days I've made a very tidy sum. One thing I do know for sure is since about 2 weeks ago when I first starting taking notice of this, there was a feeling of nausea in my gut 24/7 that I was missing out on a once in a lifetime cash-cow. Looking at the price each morning after a restless night sleep only made things worse, much fucking worse. That feeling is gone now and sleep comes easy.

And if I lose the lot, I'll still sleep well knowing I have other investments that are doing ok but like so many others right now, I had a go at Bitcoin and it was a hell of a ride!. Thanks to the guy here who's helped me a lot via PM's too.

To be honest, I'm holding out until BTC can be exchanged for repo points.

no offense lulu (and for your sake i hope you get what you want).....but a post like this only reinforces my belief that this is a speculative bubble in its last stages.

but to be fair, i was saying that at 3,000

I am not so sure - so much new money is pouring in and will keep going until something spooks the masses

the old crypto holders used to go into other alts when BTC dipped , but now the correlation is not there

Thank You for the Red Mr. Earl

The only people I know buying into BTC are gamblers from Dundalk and Crossmaglen

I would be puting in automatic sell positions that you can keep updateing every day as the price increases - maybe at 5% less than the current high - learn how to do a traqiling stop - though this means you need your BTC on an exchange and you need to know what you will exchange it for

I have doubts about tethers USDT - which is why bx.in.th is not such a bad exchange ( unless it gets haxxored ) , because you can convert to THB

anyway - people should have a read of this article - people who are buying into crypto should be reading a fcuking lot of articles

    https://cointelegraph.com/news/price...-litecoin-dash

The introduction of Bitcoin futures trading in just a few days will bring forth a number of short sellers who are likely to bet against the incessant rally. For the first time, the Bitcoin bulls will be face to face with the bears, who will have the tools to short sell the cryptocurrency.

It is difficult to predict whether the short sellers will force price downwards leading to a long liquidation or the bulls will force a short squeeze from the bears. Considering the uncertainty, it is wise to reduce the risk.

^ I was just chatting with a mate who's also just getting involved with it. He bought a house in Bkk 3 yrs ago and I bought a condo in CM 2 yrs ago. I mentioned that if I bought BTC instead, right now I could probably buy Chiang Mai.

No time like the present for a quick bit of profit.

What I put in less than 2 weeks ago had doubled in value last night after fees etc (that I could pull out to my bank account with the push of a button). Bit of a dip today, Currently could pull around 170% of what I put in.

If you are managing your own account (being the bank), why are you paying fees Luigi ?

Thanks, he has a few that he bought for a laugh some years ago, I think around $100-200, so mine are in mature company. As he/we has no intention to sell for now they're stashed offline.

With my luck the moment I did it would plummet 3,009% and I'd fuck it for everyone.

There will be an ETF futures market soon which will allow some to "manage" CCs to their own advantage.

Volatility to the moon. Exchanges becoming "unresponsive", customers waiting, waiting, algos ready to pounce.

The rocket ship to paradise or bedlam.

Makes sense that it should eventually meet resistance for the entry you want, but looking at its life chart (just a few years) as a regular company (on pure sentiment since it owns zero assets) there doesn't appear to be any serious resistance on the horizon. Just mho as a newbie, the momentum looks strong and increases as it gets media/gov attention.

Pure speculation for fun cash you can comfortably afford to lose, and aside from a sudden and complete collapse which is unlikely, there is no upside limit and the downside with a stop is small.

Well this has been a fun period to follow the price, if your idea of fun is losing 6 figures Baht in about 30 minutes I mean .
It's climbing like a rocket now though, nearly back to where it was an hour ago.

There's a guy on one of the Bitcoin forums who's signature is If you can't handle 50% price drops, you can't handle 500% gains. I think I know where he got that from now. From 625,000 Baht to 470,000 Baht and back to 586,000 Baht in under an hour.
